Macross the Ride has the Super Defender MK-XV. A modern Destroid mix squad would probably have this, the Cheyenne II and the VB-6 Konig Monster. There is also the Gjagravan-Va which I consider a Destroid even if it was a Zentradi rebel mech. -

The way the 30th Anniversary was depicted in Macross Plus strikes me Zentradi forces as a separate service from regular United Forces. We saw from Macross 2012 Flashback Zentradi ships as escort to Megaroad 1. Remember only a few Zentradi ships came out alive in Space War 1, about a hundred ships from more than a thousand on the Macross side. 2000 Zentradi hulls crashed on Earth according to Macross Chronicle. We saw in Macross Frontier the 33rd Marines on Gaul 4, NUNS considers them potential troublemakers exiled away from civilization. On 2030 the Second Defensive Battle of Macross City made wary of giant Zentradi that all Zentradi on Earth's surface are to be Miclones. This had some extreme effects. Anti-Earth Zentradi left Earth on solo emigration ships nver to be heard from again. Pro-Earth Zentradi extremists believing all Zentradi should go miclone and follow Earth's culture. Then there are those like Macross Frontier and Al-Shahal that have Zentradi Marines among their forces. Of course there are. Earth only cultured a small fraction of 8 million Zentradi in Space War 1. And there is over a thousand of Zentradi Main fleets out there. If we go by Macross 7 Encore unaired episode set in 2045-46 Earth has given up on culturing Lost Zentradi thinking Minmay was a lucky fluke. Then Basara happened taming an entire Meltrandi fleet which led to a treaty with them. 3 million Zentradi ships escaped Sol upon the destruction of Boddole Zer. Chlore fleet wasn't part of the attack on Earth but was under the chain of command of the 118th Boddole Zer Main Fleet. -

To me Hayate is a Basara type without passion and optimism. The talent is there but he is still looking for his place in the universe. -

Really? I thought it was a Queadluun-Rau. Check later for comparison. Where the heck could they have gotten a stash of Fold Quartz for ISC it is not as if there is a black... Ok Manfred Brando possibly could have when he was alive. Thinking about it the purple stuff around the Var Song singer could be Fold Quartz. -

She used the word Shiki meaning it is Type 104 Regult. Which makes us wonder does Factory Satellites produce different battle pod variants pre-stealing by UN Spacy or are they modern variations like the Queadluun-Reah? On another note anybody else bugged that the Aerial Knights aren't wearing any flight suit like Basara despite the speed it goes through? Either they have really resilient bodies if Freyja is any indication with her agility or they have an improved ISC on the SV-262 Draken. -

Since Chuck's race are mer-people wouldn't the VA-3 be selling like hotcakes on his home planet? That and a probable comeback of the Octos. -

Check at the left the girl with the fin ears. Could be female of Chuck's race. If she's a tourist her home planet must be nearby. I wouldn't cut out the possibility Chuck's race is a native of Ragna. -

Well yeah Leon who was Earth's chaperon warned Glass it is politically incorrect to say racist things about the Zentradi. Not to mention much of the voters has Zentradi blood in them. Nobody wants a political shitstorm. Those who are bloody asses to Zentradi have already formed their own fleet or fleets. Macross Galaxy despite being funded by General Galaxy, who is at the cutting edge thanks to Zentradi employees, didn't really have a Zentradi population. And they have a shitty human rights record which is why the rest of the NUN was wary of them. On the apples yeah you have to wonder if Windermere is exporting a biological agent allowing Vars syndrome. Walkure has something called Fold Receptors to help alleviate Vars. On another note I have to wonder if freighter companies get penalized for illegal human trafficking. Yeah it wasn't the pirate looking dudes fault Freyja snuck in. Either that or they don't want cops getting on their case for a reason. -

Since Song Energy is a type of Fold Wave and Var Syndrome is triggered by a Fold Wave sung by the mystery singer what the Walkure are doing is basically jamming the transmission with their own Fold Wave. The Walkure are likely recruited and specially trained for their Dimensional Resonance Ability. Among pure blooded humans that is rare. Basara is one his Song Energy Fold Wave is so great he is dubbed Anima Spiritia. The Nomes Sara, Mao and Sheryl have have it on account the Mayan priestess bloodline was allowed to have Dimensional Resonance Ability to activate the Bird Human. Part Zentradi Mylene, Emilia and Ranka have it too. Though in Ranka's case she is attuned to the Vajra Fold Wave frequency from birth. -

Don't you mean Husbando? She pretty much acts like Gamlin before he learned to loosen up. On another note someone theorized the development of Multidrones were inspired by Vajra swarm tactics. Particularly protecting Frontier. If the Var Syndrome is galaxy wide affecting Earth and the Core region as well I can see the Walkure isn't the only Tactical Music Unit. I can see Basara, Mylene, Sheryl and Ranka doing their part. -

Thinking again about a possible tabloid issue I can see some rag alleging Mirage is the daughter of Basara and Mylene like Basara was alleged as Hikaru and Minmay's son. -

What about those bracelets in Sharon Apple's concert that materialize on the wrist? Could it be part of the tech progress used with the Walkure? -

Hmm... Thinking about it in Macross history there is one instance that Zentradi became violent upon hearing a song. Some pilots in Chlore's fleet upon hearing Mylene sing went violent. The rest of the fleet did too once properly listening to Basara before he finally tames them. -

Concerning Freyja's flashback why do I have a feeling she isn't just some country bumpkin? What if Freyja is royalty? Her family fell due to a Anti-NUN revolt in the Kingdom of Wind? Her family being responsible for integrating Windermere to the NUN? -

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. Remember in Macross Zero there were floating rocks and pillars. It isn't just Sara singing as people thought but it is the Bird Human reaction to her song. Bird Human is one of the more advanced bio-weapons of the Protoculture. What the Wulkure do seemingly magical is tech. -

More like Gamlin before learning to chill. Anybody else note the ones who heard the Var song was Freyja (Windermerian with Synesthesia), Mikumo (background unknown), and Hayate (a wanderer with what looks like a Fold Quartz pendant). We can probably peg Freyja and Mikumo being singers having some Space-Time resonance ability. Hayate isn't a singer but if he has a Fold Quartz he heard that Fold Wave. Abnormal Fold Waves are a precursor to a Var outbreak. -

Regults seen in Delta is the Type-104. You have to wonder if these are models built by the NUN or something already produced on one of the Factory Satellite prior to stealing them.
