  1. how did Millias squadron sneaked up to Britais ship? Its a command ship, isn't it? Shouldn't it have all sorts of neat little gimmicks?

i can proly say. the sensor crew was too busy trying to sneak a peak at the little ppl ;). or just all the ships have bad sensors like how those 3 micronized zentran escape macross in a regult without being shotdown.

  2. only prob is theres not enough data on how strong either side is. from the tv series and movie they only show like 1 fleet/divsion, things may be differnt in other fleets. zen maybe few but better while the meltran fighting them might have tons of units but lacking in expertise to defeat them. its been awhile since i seen the tv series but i think they only show Millia making kills and in the movie coarse she making kills but also another that gets shot down.

also the bad guys dont get focus on when they killing tons of nmes, look at M7 tons of vf-11s got blown up but never shown which one realy killed them.

there might be an ace zentran in a regult in another fleet but we never know.

  3. that happen to my 1:48 vf-1S when i got it when it came out. i found that the one end is bit large than the socket so i ended up shaving abit of that little planel and glueing it back on. I posted that on the old boards but ppl got confused with that being the flap.

  4. However in the present scenario, I don't think the Zjentohlauedy would have been offended... in DYRL they seemed like warriors to be feared.  They like that.

Right, it's not like they were all orphaned children who deep down inside really just wanted to be loved and understood.

heh correct all i wanted is some love.... *flashback when hes was a single cell in a vial* "daddy? where are you? no daddy dont leave me!!!!! nooooooooo"

  5. hmm ya boycot DYRL. They protray us as cold heartless giants, but we realy wanted to say hello but your macross attacked us first with your main cannon. do we not cry if we get hurt. or we do not bleed when your 55mm shell rips threw our bodies? ;)

charge max with warcrimes for killing one of our soldiers in a unnecessary way as exposing him to the deadly touch of space in his face.

just your friendly giant green machine that cries as machines get exploited by humans.

  6. Is it just me or does this suit of armor look a bit more "Patlabor"-ish... you know, like soft body armor rather than heavy steel plating. With the seeming "turn towards the modern" perhaps this armor is some sort of ceramic plates encased in kevlar... or perhaps it is some form of CHOBAM armor sections.

you mean the reactive armor that explodes to reduce the nrg from incomming projectiles?

  7. its ok, the only thing that bothers me is the bi-plane. I never liked that part in the game having tails flying it and the show seems to made it worst. Im not sure about the kid sidekick, Part of me wishes for knuckles to beat the snot of of him but if he had more of a role other than giving sonic the mini-power ring then it would be ok.

  8. Wow i forgot was the intent of this post. oh ya. I wanted Sharon to own both valks and enslave the ppl of earth to music. or at very least kill that nerdy kid thats the designer of the 19, i never liked that char.

about the rape thing, i wouldnt think too much about taking Guld's flashback as fact, be like trusting a liar. Given time if he lived he would get flashbacks ripping the cloths off his yf-21. He being so mental he proly would block memories of him forgetting to brush his teeth in the morning then warp it that isamu did something horribly wrong.

Edit. forgot to add kill ;)

  9. An exchange by meaning is "To give in return for something received; trade" so if I allow you to download a piece of music from me, where is the exchange?

"Exchange" in legaleze is not the literal word you think it means. An "Exchange" is simply a transfer of one item to another person. A broader definition is that it is a transfer of one or more items to another person or entity based on a mutual understanding or reception of another item or items. This meaning an "Exchange" can be the transfer of a single item between two people, as in the phrase "the men on the corner made the exchange" meaning one man handed an item to another man. Exchange is used as a verb to define the synchronized action of someone giving and someone receiving. Rather than saying the long-winded sentance "Bob took the item and Fred Gave the item" you simply say "Bob and Fred exchanged the item".

Another thing people need to keep in mind is that the Legislative branch of government enacts the laws and the Judicial branch interprets them... meaning that one judge may view the word "exchange" the way you do and another may see it the other way while the congressman that wrote the law sees it in an entirely different way.

think barter would been a better word to use

  10. sry to hijack teh tread abit but im been looking for a portable dvd player for some time now. i decided to get atleast a 7in screen but after looking in thise tread is there a portable dvd player that multi region or are they all that, most of the one i considered dont say what region they play.

  11. Here's a headsup guys, in case you didn't know:
According to this comment made on the Slashdot website, it sounds like the RIAA doesn't have a leg to stand on:

    Quote:

Contrary to what the RIAA wants you to believe, it appears that making a copy of an audio recording may be perfectly legal in the US, even if you don't own the original recording, as long as it is for noncommercial purposes. The reason for this is the Audio Home Recording Act (AHRA).

Since 1992, the U.S. Government has collected a tax on all digital audio recorders and blank digital audio media manufactured in or imported into the US, and gives the money directly to the RIAA companies, which is distributed as royalties to recording artists, copyright owners, music publishers, and music writers:

    http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/17/ch10.html

    [cornell.edu]

In exchange for those royalties, a special exemption to the copyright law was made for the specific case of audio recordings, and as a result *ALL* noncommercial copying of musical recordings by consumers is now legal in the US, regardless of media:

    http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/17/1008.html

    [cornell.edu]

"No action may be brought under this title alleging infringement of copyright based on the manufacture, importation, or distribution of a digital audio recording device, a digital audio recording medium, an analog recording device, or an analog recording medium, or based on the noncommercial use by a consumer of such a device or medium for making digital musical recordings or analog musical recordings."

The intent of Congress was clear when this law was passed

    http://www.cni.org/Hforums/cni-copyright/1...93-01/0018.html

    [cni.org]

From House Report No. 102-873(I), September 17, 1992:

"In the case of home taping, the [section 1008] exemption protects all noncommercial copying by consumers of digital and analog musical recordings."

From House Report No. 102-780(I), August 4, 1992:

"In short, the reported legislation [section 1008] would clearly establish that consumers cannot be sued for making analog or digital audio copies for private noncommercial use."

Therefore, when you copy an MP3 the royalties have already been paid for with tax dollars in accordance with the law. If you are a musician whose recordings are publicly distributed, then you are entitled to your share of these royalties by filing a claim under Section 1006

    http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/17/1006.html

    [cornell.edu]

Napster tried to use this law to defend their case, and the court ruled this law did not apply to them because they are a commercial company. But as a consumer it seems to me you are perfectly within your rights when you make a copy for noncommercial private use.

hmm then the RIAA would be double dipping. Hope everybody that got sued should counter sue and get atleast dbl the ammount they got sued for.

  12. The "police" force is total @$$. Case in point, my ISP server at school emailed me, forwarding this email from MediaSentry, Inc., on behalf of Warner Bros. They directly "requested" that they cut me off because I had an "illegal" copy of Matrix Reloaded, when all it was was the MTV Movie Awards parody opening they did of it. Of course it had the movie name in the filename, but they could have just looked at it and found out they weren't one in the same:
    >Infringement Detail:

    >Infringing Work: Matrix: Reloaded, The

    >Filename: Matrix Reloaded Spoof - MTV Movie Awards 2003.mpg

And these are the idiots who are saying how much access our computers have?!? I explained it to my ISP server, they droped it, and I also sent an email to MediaSentry asking for an explination. Let you know if it ever comes in. <_<

did you download it or recorded it (if you have a tv tuner on your comp)? If its the other which i hope be cool if they get sued for looking in your hard drive without your knowing or permission.

I used to buy music cds till my friend showed me how much better the small time bands that have no music corp ties. I rather spend my money to go to a bar or small concert that have the unknown bands thats way better than buy a cd off a descent but not that good band. Besides i can just turn on my radio to listen to them. they play those billboard songs over and over and over and over and over and over and over......

  13. ...

It doesn't make any damn sense for you to take images from my website against my wishes. You want the images, either view them on the Nanashi's website OR aquire the source materials, scan them and retouch them yourself.

    ...

Is this all it takes to legally own the rights to an ALREADY PUBLISHED image!?

i always wondered about that. maybe nash meant I copy it right (its a joke nash if your still hosed about rico). But then im not a lawyer thats is up to code on copyright laws.

  14. i would like to see a new st series based on a federation citizen (and maybe a small crew) who owns a small ship (between a shuttle and a small transport) and done various jobs to earn latium or upgrade his ship. The jobs he does can proly be from transporting ppl of importance who dont want to use their normal transport that would gain attention from others, transporting cargo (illegal or legal) to planets or stations, Raids that involve more finess since he will be the underdog in battles.
