Its not if they can its if they want. theres lots of technology that isnt made for the public. For sony is it worth to lose some companies from making psp games if they release a burner and blanks, is it worth it being they could be fined by riaa/miaa/diarrhea or what ever group they are.

Works fine for me... good for you. just won't connect to the server here.

Is his server down? cant see any of the pics.

Ideally, I think Sony would have been better off approaching UMD the way they did with mini-discs... make them blank, and sell the software/hardware to take video you already have (like DVD or even avi etc) and put it on a UMD to watch on a PSP later. Ever since the psp came out a few months ago the disc has been bothering me like a ghost in the past, then i just remembered dataplay. i used to do reports on them in college back in 2001-2002. if the umd was smaller and used the format as it (i belived dataplay the same as a regular dvd) that can be possible.

Actually, IM software for the PSP (real IM software, not the DS's Pictochat crap) wouldn't be so farfetched. The PSP's wireless functions are built on 802.11b... in theory, it should be able to communicate wirelessly (for games, but why not for messaging?) over the net with other PSPs, provided that you're in a wireless hotspot, or you have a wireless router at home. yep except lots of hotspots usualy charge for usuage finding a free one is bit rare but my comment is the keypad is too small. i wouldnt diss picachew chat or what its called (don't own a nds) since it would be dissing pda's and seems like big corps like that stuff. and for good things that nds, im been looking at some of the passthroughs for it and it seems promising slow but promising, maybe they would pull off the linux nds and flashcarts.

be cool if you can use it. i have a hard time dialing to my cell phone with my muscle bound fingers. if you get a message on your psp thats "hyweliliop bhiusdsdhy" its proly me.

Nintendo said that the NDS will not play GB and GBC on it. PS: I still have Operation Contra GB with its box and manual Emulate. There's not that many GB and GBC games that have stood the test of time, anyway. Hell, if software can be run off the Memory Stick, I wouldn't be suprised to see at least NES and GBC emulators for the PSP in the near future. we would be really lucky to have a full function emulator. lately handheld emulation like snes advance has really slowed down. the trend of that plus translation patches has declined over the years. I don't know. The GBA had some nice NES emulators. I think the reason a SNES emulator never really worked out for the GBA was a lack of buttons, and the fact that the SNES seems a little tough to emulate properly. For years, a lot of PC SNES emulators had sound issues, as does SNES Station for the PS2 (which can't emulate some SNES games at all) and the SNES emulators for Dreamcast. NES, GB/C, and Genesis/Megadrive seem likely canidates for emulation on the PSP, as long as the PSP can run software directly off the Memory Stick. people been saying that about snes advance but it has realy came through with some of the games. other than sound since its a seperate chip in the cart the main problem with all emulators is scaleing and graphics support. each game pretty much using a slightly differnt approch and these gifted programers just don't have the time to do major projects like this for free. I realy doubt psp could play a gb/c game unless the game has a mono mode, people are having a realy hard time to trick the rom from the handheld point. but anyways if want to learn more about snes advance heres the link.snes advance and the forums that are more suited for discussing this pocket heaven boards

lol she can be raw at times nothing wrong with being a trek fan or a starwars fan or even a blind rowboat echi fan if we look at our selves that we all belong to the macross boards and that has to say something. -
im guessing anywhere from 8" to 12" long with a 6" to 8" wingspan. opps almost forgot it should be like twice its length and width.

I don't see why you guys are fighting about someone elses money. if whoever wanted to blow 3mill on fake vomit more power to him but arguing about the past won't help any. Btw Tsunami relief effort doesn't need money they got plenty what they need is mofos like all of you to volunteer, give blood, give sperm, who cares do something other than give money that only 5 cents of a dollar goes to them. -

You want a cure for any disease? Go infect bill gates with it and I guaruntee we'll have a fesable cure within a week. nah bill would transfer his intelligence into a computer but using his os he will crash then have to install a service pack wich prevents half of him to work and require him to activate himself using the internet. -
Official Survivor Congratulations! You scored 71! Whether through ferocity or quickness, you made it out. You made the right choice most of the time, but you probably screwed up somewhere. Nobody's perfect, at least your alive. proly for saying so long suckas to the stuck people. my only problem was the one about food. they didn't have option to select freezed dried stuff like mres or hunt/fish.

even that its bad in a way. i do like how they try to link the original series to it, like how the klingon lost there ridges by a virus so they look more like the original series. -
heh no we mostly live in the northwest. basicly the same as the south east except for the weather and accent.

Aircraft VS super thread!

im guessing the foreign versions will not be as stealthy as the us ver. and have a hidden beacon that gives us missiles insta locked on any enemy f-35s. Thats would i do if i was going to sell something top of the line. -
well hes very intelligent man (he worked for boeing back in the 60s as a machinist for the r&d dept including the not so great supersonic transport flop) but he likes to get drunk alot and guns are a major part of the family (basicly we pop into the world holding a gun ) the two together is not a good mix as in he did used his truck as a platform to shoot off beer bottles off the hood.
