With both systems it be best not to talk about the games until its been 8months to a year after launch. thats enough time for game companies to learn program and translate it for other languages.

I guess its to be expected since SC2 was released on all 3 platforms and now SC3, so far, is only being released on the PS2. The other two feel left out and unloved lol. that depends on the game themselves. very simple action games that just saves what level you was on would have a good chance it can be compatible. rpgs it would be a near miracle for it to work (lang diffence, differnt address for items, differnt items, ect...)

you forgot conventional countermeasures like chaffs/flares that is there but not animated that much. the thing about energy based weapons is not about over heating its having a moving platform thats fast enough and sensors accurate enough and a computer powerful enough to process that the laser beam can stay on the missile long enough to disable it.

for some reason in that anime universe mecha technology is surpreme but photo tech is still in the 50s or 60s with the dish type flash.

while a HD would be very cool, I wonder what that would do to the battery life... I imagine that given how short it already is, a hard disk would shorten the usable life considerably.... hoping for the tech to advance enough that with a super small 50 gb hdd in a handheld will have an advance micro fusion generator or atleast a small hydro fuel cell generator in itl
