That's a point I hadn't thought of Graham. I was thinking along the lines of the FBW software beingtweaked to smooth out some of the YF-19s more troublesome aerodynamic tendancies, but it's also possible that the software code itself might have led to more than a few acidents. This seems to be happening already with some newer FBW aircraft (on the YF-23's first flight the FBW system tried desperately to compensate for the bumps and dips the plane hit while taxing to the runway, and the second YF-22 prototype was felled by a software glitch that sent it porpoising into the ground), and I have to think the YF-19 has to have something even more complex. I was thinking it gave the vf-19 the western cowboy theme like a wild horse that can't be broken and bucked off all othe other cowboys who tried to tame it then the hero comes and breaks it in.

you forgot to put the oil dripping out of the slot.

you have to take off the 4 screws to loosen the anti-thief panel then slide the panel to the left 1 inch and rotated it counter clockwize 3 times then pull out the panel then you can easily pull out the unprotected hdd so wears an anti-static strap.

also helps to get rid of the swap disc.

That one is rumor right now. The PSP has an IR transmitter, some crafty japanese kids figured out that they can control their Sony robot Dog with it, it is speculation at this point but if it is capable of transmitting the signal to remote controll the dog, it is probably capable of transmitting to control many different Sony products. It will likely take a firmware upgrade from Sony to facilitate the function any further, or it could just be a fluke with the broadcast spectrum hitting on some of the Dog's signals. I can't find the article about it this second but I am pretty sure I read it on Engadget or Gizmodo.. As I understand things... If it has an IR transmitter, then with the right firmware it can control ANY IR remote device. It's all the same frequency, more or less. The big thing is getting the serial data pulses in. A remote control signal is a set of, say, 12 bits, and the LED flashes to tell the reciever what to do. So, say -**--*---*-* could be the power singal, and *-*-*-*-*-*- could be mute(assuming * is lit and - is dead). I dont even think it needs a firmware upgrade. just need a program like a wav to ir pulse like one of the ipod projects.

Seemed like a good opportunity to post my favorite picture ever. BK's new mascot is the damn creepiest and most disturbing one I've seen. WTF were they thinking when they approved the advertising campaign?! Yah some of the commericals seems like hes going to kill the person with fatty foods and using the element of surprise on his victoms. -
Thats michael bolton's children?

I perfer mini-z overlands after being burned with the xmod's radio shack quality of products but seems they getting bit better now. Didn't think you can put a fet stack on the pc board since theres so little room plus the original fets are directly making contact with the metal plate on the bottom. Im guessing a 2x2?

the dread looks like a realy big landmine but it is interesting. The movie almost reminded me of those videos of the guns in the doom3 game. If the end it has said safer worlds with superior firepower I would proly pass out. -

The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe
Zentrandude replied to GRAND CANNON's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I always felt like it was a LoTR for small children. Later I found out that there was some kind of religious allegory in it, which turned me off even more. It turns out, though, that Tolkien and Lewis were good friends. I think I can avoid seeing it, unless the trailers and reviews are so great that I actually want to. Tolkien, Lewis and one other guy... were part of a group called the Inkilings and were also called "The Oxford Christians". Tolkien was infact (according to what I've read) one of the major influences who convinced Lewis to give Christianity a try, (Lewis was a hard core atheiest). Tolkien however hated allegory (preffering to use mythology which reveiled facists of god's character rather then a direct allegory to the Bible) and so he hated The Narnia books. ^^... but yes, they both taught at Oxford at the same time, and apparantly they were great friends, who while they didn't see eye to eye on some subjects impacted each other's writing. All of the Narnia books with the Exceptions of the Magicians Nephew, A Horse and his Boy and the Last Battle... have been made into TV movies by the BBC. Check 'em out if you want, they're not that bad. Anyways as for the religous allegory Magicians Nephew = Genisis Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe = The Gospels The Last Battle = Revelations Aslan = Jesus The Emperor Over the Sea = God Father Christmas = The Holy Spirit *no, really* Tash = Satan It's so blatant... Aslan even says at one point "I have brought you to know me in this world so that you may better know me in yours". It's really blatant. Oh, I think they will remain intact... infact I've read that they will... because that was part of the deal that's been negociated. Meanwhile all the anti-christian overtones are being taken out of the His Dark Materials movies... though that's a horse of a different color. so orcs=romans/egyptians? -
That's the top secret portion of the picture. might be for me it stops loading just under his chin. pretty cool.

The yamato site has always been IMO the last place to find new news. yah its very sad. they should hire more people to manage their sites better.

yamato needs to update their site for all 3 locations. has no info on the cf on it.
