Burnt out on VF-1? Hell no. I just started! Seriously, I love the VF-1. I hope to see the 1/48 GBP-01 but even more so on the 2 seater VF-1. A perfect VF-0 would be cool but I need to see Macross Zero. Now a perfect VF-4 would just put me in Heaven. I am starting to wonder what happened to the 1/60 Destroid Monster. 1/48 Tomahawk etc destroids would b cool,to.

Hey all, Just wondering on clear coats. I am using the Model Master clear coats on my Kakizaki custom after I used all the stickers. Now I feel that the look is too glossy. Is that what clear coat does?

Yes. Bad publicity would do some good. This is how they treat your items. Which is complete BS. That means customers would use some other shipper. There is absolutely no reason why the package should look like it is. It wasn't heavy nor bulky.

Thanks for all the comments. Just to answer some questions: 1. The little figures are from the crap arii pvc posables. See here. I bought a ton of them back in 1998 because I never had any valks. Plus it was 15th anniversary. Now the sit here in my office while the figures stay with the cool yammies. 2. I got the display from Applegreen in Redmond, WA. Just down the street from my former place of employment Microsoft. Yes they suck. For contractors it sucked so bad. Low pay, many hours... I digress. I got it for $1000 with no sales tax. Nice cherry wood I think. Hand made. Has a halogen light. As you can see in the lower right of the 1st pick, it is a key. It means I can lock it up. No pesky kids to break it. 3. I like fighter mode the best but I am not finished. As you can see I have another shelf. Bottom shelf. I still have to open the other boxes as I am planning to place in there. As you can see I have the VF-1S TV Hikaru w/FPs, VF-1S DYRL Max custom, and VF-1A DYRL Kakizaki custom. My plan is to paint a VF-1S TV Roy pilot for the VF-1S sitting in the box right now. I have plans for custom TV Max VF-1A and TV Kakizaki as well. Other plans include a VF-1S and VF-1J low vis. I also thinking about doing a special VF-1J or S custom. Not a Minmay guard or something from Macross. Actually not thinking of doing but will do since I bought the damn decals. I just need to get the pain. I fear that the cabinet will not be enough to hold a bunch of valks. Of course I have to place stickers on all of them. Fear not for I will transform some and hopefully Haterist will send my stands soon. 4. UN Spacy, I dont have the largest collection of Low vis. I only have six right now. I did have 7 but I sold one because the price was right. I think I might be in a tie. Plan is to get 10 low vis for a squadron. 2 others are the custom 1J and 1S. As I said I have to get to them but I have the customs to do first. 5. I will probably update as I can. I need more time. Work has been a bear. Last 5 weekends has been work, work, work. And then there is softball. And then there was that date... wont talk about that...

NO 1/60s... Must resist... too tempting... Now if the 1/48 comes out, forget willpower. It is game over.

Well here is my collection or some of it. Yes, I only have one low vis on display. Fear not, I will eventually have all to show. For now enjoy.

Something tells me that Yamato would be stoopid silly to not have any more 1/48's planned when the buzz (both here and overseas) on the 1/100 VF-0 is worse than asbestos underoos. Plus, the Koenig's obviously still a pretty good ways off. Mayhap Yamato is just being quieter than they used to be. It would be pretty ridiculous for no Canon Fodder 1A to be released since it's really just a repaint. Maybe they are working on the 2 seater 1:48s? Here's to wishful thinking.

just like in the 1/60s? huh? theres no green skull squad. sticker on the 1/60 sticker sheet at all nor on any of the VF's w/FP's There was in the 1/60 stickers with Kakizaki's name and number 012.

If DYRl MPCs comes out, I doubt ppl will buy them at $80 a pop. I know I wont. But interestlingly enough, they might release VF-1A Kakizaki where Yamato failed to do so. Still, I wouldn't touch them though.

Why does the Max Vf-1A gets no love? Sheesh. Yamato shoulda released the VF-1S Max then. Then again, I am a big Max freak. I have 5 VF-1A Max and 7 VF-1J Max. Actually 1 VF-1S Max custom and 4 VF-1A Max. Trying to work on the VF-1A Max TV type.
