You're going to need a small army laborers to construct that thing. And, out of what material were you planning on building it? I can imagine the looks you'd get from your neighbors when you open the garage door and you have a Honda and a blue aircraft carrier in there. well we will.I said I had plans to. I have other projects sitting around. Hey, I never said you weren't going to. I don't doubt you. Hope I didn't offend you. Nah. you didnt. As for the VE and VT, you will need to have the wings changed as well since they are not your standard VF-1 wings.

I dunno. Last night's episode wasnt all that excitinga nd the seeing previews of the next episode with Col. Tigh's wife, I am having a hard time believing his wife is a lot younger and damn sexy. Then again, there are dirty old men. Overall, IMO I am slowly feeling the boredom of BSG after the witch hunt episode. Yes I see the implications but I grow weary of this who's who or better yet who is a Cylon. Frankly it is getting old. I am waiting to dee how the next episode turns out. ******SPOILER***** ******SPOILER***** ******SPOILER***** ******SPOILER***** ******SPOILER***** I liked it when Baltar was seeing on the computer that Boomer was in the "red" on the Cylon detector and Six was telling the possiblitles that Boomer would kill him to keep her identity if he told her (Boomer). He was nervously trying to change it on the computer. It was decision of Baltar not to tell her and lie to her about but the question remains will he reveal it to Adama? Also it doesnt make sense that if Adama is Cylon. Almost all the cylons seem to "lost" their families. Obviously Adama has a son. Recall Baltar inquiring into Boomer's past. It seems these Cylons get placed very conveniently but the next episode will seem to contradict it with Col. Tigh's wife which I am having a hard time in believing.

Oh that reminds me... thanks for the hash and crack package....it was the best shipment yet! I still can't feel my left arm! Oh and stop smoking half the merchandise! A 1/48 Prometheus??? Just stop! SHHHHHHH!!! I told you keep that under wraps. That's it I am cutting you off! Yes i can build a 1/48 prometheus. My initial calculations say it can be a size of the car. (Or so I think). I hope you're joking... The Prometheus is 512 Metres or 1680 Feet Long. At 1/48 scale, your "car" would have to be 35 feet long. Better start thinking about an 18 wheeler! Makes me think of that Rebel Blockade runner that dude made to scale with the 4 inch Star Wars figs... Actually I wasnt kidding. Well it was going to the armor-01 or prometheus which depends. But they will be in a cutaway detail.

Welcome to MW. Ok here is the problems with the MPCs Macross: 1. Floppy leg syndrome. They use magnets to hold the legs up when in fighter mode. since the leg is made of die cast, it is heavy. The legs tend to flop due to weight. 2. QC issues. The antennas on the heads, some of them looks crooked. Depends on your luck. They are some paint issues like sploches and excess paint that looks like it was dripping and then it dried up. 3. Feeling. Here this is a little subjective but there is a feeling of cheapness IMO. Not the feel but the look. 4. Swing bars. They just stole that from the previous releases of the 1/55s Now I bought them but there have been alwaysa feeling of buyer's remorse. Anyways, a 1/60 or 1/48 would be best bet unless you can get the MPCs cheap like I did. If I had to do over, I would get the 1/48s period. They are by far the perfect masterpieces. On the MPC Alphas, be careful of the 1st 2 releases. Rubber tires are so thin, it is pathetic for all of them. Painting issues and some ppl had some parts of two right arms instead of 1 right and 1 left.

Folks, I think the celebration is a tad premature. Sorry to rain on everyone's parade but you have to remember if it is in CAD so what? Look at the 1/60 Monster Destroid. We still have heard jack-crap after they showed the prototype at last year's WF. Also we havent seen nor heard about the YF-19 FP. As much as I want them to continue, I just wish Yamato would at least give us a heads up for once. Based on what I heard about the WF, Yamato looks like they are dropping Macross.

not only that but why would you spend on bunch of money on a upgrade kit, sand it, file it, paint it, apply decals, then box it up? yeah, same thing I was thinking... i'm still trying to figure out what the heck hes gonna do with 60+ valks? theres only a total of 8 1/48s so even if you had to have 5 of each, 3 in each mode, 1 to play with and 1 to keep MIB, there still leaves 20+ unaccounted for? i'm telling you man, him working for MS is a smokescreen, you and i both know what godzilla really does for a living. Just for your info, I am not a drug dealer. As for my valks, I told you my project: 1/48 Prometheus or Armor-01. Sheesh. Need an airwing you know. Also I am not going to covert all my 60 plus valks but I am going to convert maybe 7-9 of them. I still have the other projects like the 2x VF-1S and 2x VF-1J LVs, CF VF-1A, Kakazaki TV, CF VF-1J. It is gonna be a busy couple of summers. Since we are stating problems here for the 2 seaters, maybe Yamato forseen these issues so that is why they won't make the 2 seaters. Just a thought here.

More likely a VF-1A CF.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I have no doubt that a perfect transormation version is possible, but if I have to live with a detachable heatshield, I have no problem with that at all. Doesnt matter if it comes off or not. Actually it does since I like it be perfect but I am asking for the moon. Anyways, I just hope it is sturdy enough. I will take mutiples of the VF-1D, VT-1, and VE-1. iF we can have boxes of each, I AM MORE THAN WILLING TO PAY A PREMIUM!

haha, at least I can say I have more 1/60's and 1/72's than you! well, only 2 more 1/72 than you. True but if there are no1/48 2 seaters, I might have to break down and get the 1/60 versions. I can cover all scales so I decide to pick one.

The intro music. . . before you actually enter the site is from RT. But it's actually one of the good pieces from RT. Some people are a little too uptight. H I have to agree with Hurin. The intro which is Robotech as everyone stated seems to fit well with it. The rest of the music is perfect for the Macross series and DYRL. I know a lot of you are very anti-Robotech but some of the music wasnt bad. No, I am not talking about Minmei aka Reba West. We know who the real Minmay is. The background/score was pretty good. Overall the website rules.

True about the revolver. But in Patlabor: The Movie, Ota and Noa definitely needed more that 6 shots to fight off all the Labors going crazy in the Ark. The advantage in having a magazine would me more shots can be fired and you can easily carry more. If the terrorists in the Patlabor were smart, they would at least get together and steal a bunch of labors to create havoc in which it would over come Special Vehicles Division 1 and 2. Also in the Patlabor 2, did they expand more divisions for Patlabors?

You make it sound like that's a bad thing I'm alright, and even glad, for a little T&A. But lately I've been really turned off by the excessive T&A out there. It just seems to me that the programmers/writers/whomever is trying to cover up some gameplay/script deficencies by throwing some more tits and ass at the viewer. "Game or movie not up to snuff? Give 'em a woodie and that'll fix everything!" is just really grating on my nerves. Everquest and Sudeki spring to mind as perfect examples. I gotta agree with Cory here. I dont mind the T&A but if it is used to cover up the game deficiencies, no way no how will I get the game.

Your lack of faith in Yamato not making more Macross toys is disturbing...

how do you find this stuff phil? Way to funny. I'm going to have to add the "deprimed teddy bears" quote to all my futer auctions here's an auction I always wondered about. If it sells I'm going to have to sell all my missles to buy more valks http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5958716354&rd=1 Wheeljackslab always try to take the maximum to see if he can make a ton of money. His has pissed off a lot of Joe collectors especially me.

Who knew??? What clued you in?

Oh man, I need to chime in. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! No macross items? Aw crap. I was praying for 2 seaters. That was the reason why I skipped out on the 1/60s. I mean when the 2-seaters and CFs come out, I am sure will be the Yamato's biggest customer. This news is defintely sad. *Sigh*. I really hate to cannibalize my current valks for the 2 seaters though but I will do it if I need to. I know some are kinda happy the 1/48 VF-1 will come to an end but I for one love the VF-1 and the 1/48 is by far the best in terms of design from the TV and movie. I want the YF-19FP as well. Yeah, I know someone can make the FPs but I dont have a YF-19 for the FPs to fit them on as most don't have them as well. Tis a sad day for me... Now I need to hunt for more 1/48 VF-1s...

My question is why they use revolvers? Wouldn't a gun with a magazine easier to use since I am sure the other leg can hold more ammo seen in the 1st movie. If using magazines, the Patlabor can probably double or triple it ammo load. After watching the 29 of the 34 episodes, I find some episodes really suck because they are boring but I find some episodes really hilarious and action packed. (I really liked the episode called Ota's afternoon of Confusion.) Overall I like all the characters on Patlabor.
