The toynami VF-1 Masterpiece series have the eyes light up when you flipped the black switch on (near the nose of the VF). There is a small battery compartment for the light use as the powersource.

It is a good idea to remove them but I havent removed mine.

Well I just watched it and it was hell to download. Here is what I think: 1. Animation isnt bad. Needs improvement especially on the laser effects. Looks like GitS TV series but a couple of steps down. Mixing the animation with CG, nothing really new but still looks decent. But it ain't ground breaking. 2. Storyline seems fishy but all we saw was some scenes. To me there was alot of stuff they seem to redo NG like in the beginning of the assault with Scott and Marlene. Then we see scenes of the new ppl. At this point I dunno if this will be a Scott Benard for the continuation. For right now it remains to be seen. 3. Acting/Voices - no improvement there. Just marginally better than the dub overs in Robotech. I would like to see a couple of episodes before I make judgement. And some comments to Mgrexx: please grow up. We are all adults here. This forum is free for all to comment whether it is good or bad unlike the HG nazis who controls the forum. Settle down and stop acting childish if things do not go your way. People respect you more when you can take criticism. Just some friendly advice.

Wasn't Kakizaki aqua-blue? I wasn't sure. When I made my Kakizaki custom DYRL, I used green b/c that was what Yamato stickers had on them.

When you say the whole collection, I assume you are including the weird one that came up when the Robotech Game came out? VF-1R wasnt it called? Ugh. I dunno. I just think that was fugly. I have the MPCs but not that one since I dont consider it as the collection to the Robotech series. I guess to each their own. Anyways, your collection is what you make of it. Do what you like and what you want to do. Dont let anyone dictate your collecting. If you feel it is too much, then by all means sell some. Just make sure you will not regret it. I had extra MISB MPCs and I sold them and I got my money back. If I kept them, I coulda made more money on the Rick Hunter but I would not have sold the rest possibly. All in all I think came out ahead.

Well we do have the Millia and Max Q-raus in 1/60 scale. But a 1/48 Regults wouldnt be so bad to have the Zentradi fighter pods.

I'd say keep the MPC for now. The only MPCs worth double its original MSRP are Rick Hunter and Roy Fokker. Yamato 1/60s you will surely sell at a loss if you bought them when they first came out. I bought mine for $80. The 1/48s are the shining gems and will be worth a lot.

That is some fine piece of work this guy did. I hope he fetches a lot of money for it.

Here is my suggestion: Patlabor- good robot series if you dont like Gundam. Witch Hunter Robin - a nice serious series with supernatural in the real world. Noir - Women and guns. Basically a serious series in which pairs up two women assassins looking for their pasts. Ghost in the Shell TV series - Think Matrix. Full Metal Panic - Has humor and has some seriousness side with robots. Mospeada - Robotech Next Gen series that stole from this series. More robots. This series is better from the Japanese script, not robotech.
