I really *REALLY* think we need to stop speculating what is coming out. I am not going to hang on every word Graham says. Doesnt look that bad. So the colors are not what they are. Oh well. I like the way they put in the realism. I am sure some one will make a custom SS in anime colors. I can understand why they did with SS and not OP. Fighter jets are not suppose to be that frigging obvious. Defeats the purpose of military camoflage. As a truck, OP is just a commercial truck. Those are not colored to anything specific. I like the decepticon emblem is put in instead of the star on the US insigna. Nice touch. I definitely like the 4x sidewinders.

Well, all I can say is be patient. Oh I am quite mad about the Kakazaki release. But I made my custom long ago. Now I am holding off on making the TV versions of Max and Kakazaki. I am glad I skipped the kit for the Vf-1D. Right now I am holding off on the Minmay Guards. In a good and bad way Yamato is making more variations of the VF-1. Good for us in variety but bad for those who made the customs if Yamato decides to make those.

Pricewise I can understand why you would like it. But as a collector, I spend enough money on toys let alone Macross. The thing is that I dont buy everything Macross. I skipped the poseables, Hikaru man-doll, etc. Yes my expectations are high. I'll admit that. I like Yamato b/c I havent had any real issues (knock on wood) like loose limbs, 2 right shoulders, broken tailfins, etc. especially on my VF-0S. I also know at least Yamato listens to their fans (to a certain degree) based on their track record. Right now I rather be picky than buy everything. As I get older, I start to realize that I have to be a smart collector. As for the 1/100 for itself. It isnt bad compared to say the baneprestos, I give it that much credit when comparing apples to apples. I am not saying competition is bad. Somethings I can agree with is thatit could force Yamato to face the pricing. Believe me, I wouldnt mind if the prices do go down as I buy in bulk. It hurts. On the flip side, if the USD was stronger against the Yen, that would help. If shipping wasnt so high, that would help too.

DO IT! I always felt the Hornet needs more lethality. What was BBI thinking? 4 bombs and 2 sidewinders? If it was going long range, why not use bombs with bigger warheads. What would be cool if there was some Mavericks in its arsenal. But the 2 LGB paveways are a good option with some air-to-air capability. Anyways look like I may need to drill some holes for the Sparrows if you do make a kit.
