In the TV version, was there a Strike Version? I dont think I have seen it yet but I am on DVD # 7. I see the strike versions on all the VF-1S except for Max in DRYL.

I was looking at other forums on other sites about the Monster, VF-19, etc. The rumormill about the timeframe some the these are suppose to release somewhere from 2003 to late 2004.. Mind you that some the dates were already passed but I dont remember seeing recently about the Monster release date. It was suppose to be Fall 2003 but so was the Macross Zero VF-0. Has Yamato decided not make the Monster? Or they still working on it? The topic also said that the VF-4 Was being considered but in light what Graham said it is very unlikely just as the 2 seaters VF-1 are unlikely as well. Side note: I know the Monster will be huge but what will be the packaging? Even more huge? I would hate to see the shipping cost for that bad boy. Could someone explain to me how an small Anime store is able to have this DVD but all the major retailers like Best Buy and buy.com say that this is available on Feb. 17? I decided not to buy it because I rather pay $20 at Best Buy rather than $30 so I have to wait. Looking at the cover there at the time, this is the release for the US. (I am not sure that is correct way to say it.)

Ok, why the tan brown? Usually standard military colors are darker. That is because it is the art of camoflage. I never understood why the bright colors. To me it mean "shoot it" But the main character fly them and they dont get shot down. Ok, the tan brown would be for desert colors, but why that brown in Macross for the CF?

Somehow I think the pillow is used for sitting on your butt when play with the Kasumi Blue Xbox joypad. Seriously, you guys' imagination runs really wild. And that worries me. And comparing a pillow to real woman... nm.

Ok, I am looking at ebay and VE. I am debating whether to get these. I assume they arent bootleg ( I know VE is not but on ebay...) I assume there is no US release b/c of HG or some other snafu. I rather not get into the debate on the reason like it is because of HG this and that. My question is it alright to get these. I would like to have the English subtitles but I want to make sure I have a legal copy. I will not pay for a pirate version. Probably I think is more education on my part. But anyways, I see these DVDs are from HK and Japan. Some have region code restriction, etc. I just want some advice before I make a purchase.

Looks like we may see a sale at some point. I would hope not. I preordered 5 Max and 2 Millia.

Anybody got any idea if the DVDs of M0 will come into the States? I was tempted to buy those DVDs on ebay but I am hesitant when they say no region code because I hate to get bootlegs. I just hate it when all you ppl are able to see it and I am like WTF are you guys talking about when it comes to M0. Anybody have any advice how I should acquire the DVDs that I can play on my DVD player? My other concern is that M0 may never come to the States because of HG copyrights and stuf... Anybody that can tell me if this is fact or fiction?

Hmm, somehow I missed that but yeah, a Max VF-1A would be good as well.

Good luck waiting for M0 mate. Don´t want to get into a debate or anything but I´m sure HG has it locked in their radars from a long time ago and they´re just waiting for it to come a bit closer so they can shoot it down as they´ve done with all previous macross series (except for M+). As for your suggestions I recomemend you wathc Rahxephon , Cowboy Bepop and FLCL. I would like to reccomend Yukikaze but I honestly thought it was lacking a lot so is not really worth except if your just looking for nice dogfights. That is not what I wanted to hear. Damn them HG ppl! Still I dont see it being a problem why would they let the Macross plus be sold here?

The only thing I see maybe is that a low vis vf-1j. A big maybe. The only other special limited VF-1 I think will be either: 1. Minmay guard VF-1S. 2. 25,000th production VF-1 3. Angel scheme VF. 4. Maybe a camoflage scheme VF. 5. CF vf-1j Of course that is my speculation. I think we will see a CF. But will we see a Kakizaki DRYL and TV VF? I dunno. Then again they may just stop with Millia. As Graham said, there looks like there will be no 2 seaters. EDIT: I need to reread what I write.

I had asked about Gasaraki before but there were mixed reviews from this community. I am not sure about this real world mixed with mythology and such. I just heard ppl had a hard time understanding the story.

Sorry to ask this question since I am sure this has been asked before, but I am just getting into anime other than Macross and Mospeada. You have to remember I grew up on Robotech. Anyways, I got into Full Metal Panic. After watching the 1st dvd, I promptly ordered what was available for retail. Basically I bought 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. I know 7 and 8 are not out yet. This weekend I got my 36" Sony HDTV. Boy it was sweet. Anyways, my buddy came over and brought a bunch of anime DVDs. He is a anime nut. I started watching Evangelion DVD #1, and promptly liked it though I am having a hard time with some parts of the storyline. Then he brought over Cardcaptor Sakura, Najica, and Noir. I like Star Blazers wayy back when but I was listening to the english adaptation. I heard Bolan Wars sucked. Anyways, I was looking into Patlabor and anything else with Mecha. Now I dont have M0 but I will wait till that comes out on DVD for the USA but anybody have any more suggestions?

True, but it would save time and aggravation. First you have to hunt down the suff and then you have to build it and so on... I bought mine for $87. Besides I am trying to forget the movie... Prime died which turned the restof the movie into crap.

looks like they are around $60. The Takara go from anywhere from $99 to $130. i got it fo r$105. i tloosk soo sweeet!! I two of mine for $88 and the other for $90.

I am glad I am not getting this. I figure since I have 3 Takara Primes, I have enough. Besides, I want the "correct" Optimus Prime, not this shortened stack Prime.

Actually I think God answered my prayers (along with every anti-Yankee fan out there) for that 2001 World Series.
