Well here is the delima: Has everyone stopped buying the 1/60 so they can buy the 1/48? My personal opinion is this: Why should I get the 1/60 if I am collecting the 1/48? I am just gonna wait. The catch 22 is that if the 1/60 doesnt do well, we can forget 1/48. That pisses me off. I hope that Yamato realizes this. As for the green Q-rau, I rather get that than the red. I may get the red one later so I can have my VF-1S Max vs. the red Q-rau. And the guy didnt ask about the 1/60 Monster nor any other release of the Destroids. Nor did he ask about any 2 seater VFs. One could rationalize that it wasn't really Yui though. She was created as a hybrid of Yui/Lilith and therefore something entirely different. It's still treading an odd line though, and stretching it. However his real interest lay in Asuka anyway. Rei is a clone from Yui and Lilith? Where was that in the series that said that? I dont remember but then again I am still have to piece things together. I thought she and the fifth child were cloned from Lilith. I think I may have to rewatch DVD 7 and 8. Also, was Shinji's father having an affair with Dr. Ritsuko and her mother? Or her mother was trying to make the moves on him and he was rejecting her? I know in the end before Shinji's father shot her, she was saying something of the effect of being his lover... I think. I liked that episode. I laughed so hard.

They have a few things to work out, but it's safe to say they'll end up together. On a similar note they were the first to come back in part becaue of Rei, but also their because of the evas they were in as well. One point of debate I wuld like to bring up that is not clear is what about Misato and Ritsuko? They were both shot before actual 3rd impact, so technically there, they should have been dead. However, the ghost Rei (II?) that appeared before they actually died could mean they have been included after all in the "merging" as it were, and therefore could have a chance to come back as well. Also, now that I remember, you are actually shown their bodiless clothes on the ground after the impact begins, complete with the new LCL, further giving evidence to support that as well. Actually that was my next question that was on my mind. Also, what is this deal on the figure of Asuka and Rie? I see these characters in Wedding dresses and bath? I see the figures that my friend has of Asuka and Rei in their suits but that seems more logical to me.

Wow, I can get my Ace from GIJOE and replace Hikaru for the 1/18 scale. Uh-huh... I was on the 1/18 "sickness" with the BBI toys like the apache, blackhawk, Bradley, etc for making my diorama for Iraqi freedom. But I stopped getting them because I dont have room for my GIJOE, Transformers reissue, 1/48 valks, comics, computers collections. I had to rethink that... Now I am selling stuff so I can have room. No I am not selling my valks. First off, that toy when transformed to battroid is like your kids, or if you dont have kids, it can be your kid. I chose if I won the lottery. U need to win the lotto for this.

Well, we will have to see. As some stated, we prolly wont see Kakizaki at all (but why have the stickers for it?) If we follow the release of the 1/60 line, yes the CF is coming out. The only thing maybe I see is a 1/48 GBP-01 armored valk. But I think it maybe doubtful. The two seaters versions of the VF-1 1/48 scale is highly doubtful according to Graham. I know the tooling will give the some expense, but is it that much? I dunno since I do not a have clue in this field. All we can do is hope.

Well, you can preorder the alpha here for $65. Toynk Frankly $65 is a little much but I am willing to get the first one. $80 is way too much esp after getting burned on the Rick Hunter MPC. I nevered paid full price after I preordered the Rick Hunter MPC. Never again I say!

Ok, Well, it answers a lot of my questions because after episode 24, I was like WTF?!? Yes I could have skipped the 1st movie because I was already watching everything in order. After watching the 2nd movie, it wasnt WTF, WTFHWT?! My initial impression was that only Shinji and Asuka were the only ones. I didnt know if more would come. I thought everyone who wanted to come back would come back by then. I thought Shinji and Asuka were the Adam and Eve to start mankind over. (I dont think Asuka would let him get near her but who knows... Then again Asuka is a real conceited witch. I mean duct tape comes to mind. ) If they are waiting for people to come back, they got a hell of a lot of cleaning to do. Overall, I thought it was great till I hit DVD 6, 7, and 8. The movies made the impressions worse. I thought they could easily stopped the 3rd Impact by assassinate all the SEELE members. I mean, the 2nd Impact was the reason why they had Angels or am I totally wrong? Oh, BTW, mankind is the 18th Angel? My buddy who loaned me the DVDs is a big fan of this and he said it was. It is kind of erie that this uses references of the biblical nature.

Ok, I watched the 2 movies and now I am really lost. So are Asuka and Shinji the only ppl left on the planet?

THATS WHY NUKES ARE GREAT!!! Well... I am not so sure they are great but I am not going to dispute the use of A-bomb in the end of WW2. Yes, it saved countless lives but I think one bomb was enough. I mean 3 days later you drop another one? I think the Allies should have given Japan about a week to figure out what the hell happened and let it sink in. Granted that a military target should have been chosen (but that would not have shown what the bomb can do.). You have to remember, the Japanese civilians did not know what was going on out in the Pacific. (correct me if I am wrong) Of course the civilians probably turned a blind eye to when they enjoyed the spoils of war. The Emperor was never really the leader of his country during WW2. The military took over Japan. Yes the Emperor forced the military to surrender. My question is: Could it be saying that in Macross that America is evil because of the use nuclear weapons? They say that Macross creator thinks the "good guys" never use nuclear weapons according the Macross insert I have in the DVD.

I'd say a VF-1S Max but I don't see that happening. I thought the 1/48s were over priced since there hardly any diecast (Prolly the landing gears). For that kind of detail, though, I think it is worth it. Just my $0.02. Anyways, I like the VF-1S Focker better than Hikaru.
