IMHO, Hunt for Red October was Connery's film. Ford was a strong supporting cast member as Jack. Think about the film, it really was focused on Captain Marko Ramius's story. It is my favorite Tom Clancy book-to-film adaption, but the definitive "Jack Ryan" film for me is Patriot Games. It's all him! Did Paramount go back and digitally replaced Alec Baldwin's Jack Ryan with Harrison Ford in Hunt for Red October? Ooops! hahahaha...I guess Baldwin and Ford look alike to me! Even I missed that. But I gotta say, the best espionage storyline currently is... ALIAS. I'd miss Jack Ryan and James Bond to watch Alias. Maybe they should let J.J. Abrams write and direct the next Bond. Bah Alias was good till this season. Then it turned soap opera-ish. Hence why I quit watching. Plus I keep guessing correctly on what would happened. Annoyed my friend that because he and I watched season1 and 2 on dvd. He went ahead and watched it and then watched it again. He was getting pissed when I guessed correctly the outcome/conspiracy/etc.

Ok, I went to check it out some more. Upon further inspection, I did in fact find some yellowing. Yellowing was on the head, lower right & left leg around the landing gear. The top part of the plane was so prestine you couldnt notice. Now for the rest: Great shape still sitting in the box slot. Alright Bended on the edges Still there. Still there. Hasn't been even touched. Not even a bented edge. All there and in fine shape. Nice shape like new. No missiles. Yes, very evident. NoLike I said I wasnt sure if I should buy it upon further inspection. The top part was so nice, I didnt check the underside. That was where I found some yellowing. It is worth $175? Of course I am damn perfectionist...

So what about Con Air? I thought Con Air wasnt bad but I have to agree with the movies recently... they werent all that great. The problem how I see this is that Hollywood overall is losing steam on creativity. I mean now they use books, video games, and OMG old TV shows. WTF!??! What happened to good old fashioned imagination?

What are you possibly doing with 5 Max 1J's? That is asking why I have 5 Low vis. Max is a genius! Blue is my favorite color. And Max is my fav character. Hikaru is a wuss in my book. Current collection is 15 1/48s.

They really need to kill bond or kill the damn script writers. I agree the last movie sucked and it was unrealistic. The only going for it was Ms. Frost. She was better looking than Halle. If they put Jinx as a stand alone movie, I will never see it because I cant stand her.

Well, I was making the 1/48 version of the SDF-1 till I did some real basic preliminary calculations (actual comparisons). The Prometheus would be almost the size of my 1998 Camry (deck width would be the width and half to 3/4 the height of the Camry at least.) If kicked the numbers and did the real math, I would be like . So I stopped the project. I have an empty garage space but I am thinking I need two plus car spaces. Where in hell am I gonna find that? Sure I could be wrong about the size comparison but still... If I remember those guys building those large scale aircraft carriers like the USS Forrestal and USS Enterprise, those were freaking huge. I would just settle for the 1/3000 version. easier to find a storage space.

You ppl need to chill out on Millia's butt. It is just a toy. Not like a 1:1 doll. And how many of you guys would buy that? I would like to see Millia stand next to the 1/60 valk to see if they are close to same height. Too bad I will not see a 1/48 Q-rau. My VF-1S Max is gonna get lonely.
