    I love the Hi-Metal R MK-II Monster. It's scary that it's actually a smaller scale than the DX-Chogokin VF-1 Valkyries.

    I ended up binge watching the rest of the series and I liked it up until the final part of the last episode. I think the ending could have been a lot better and I’m still debating whether I like what happens to the Gundam and it’s pilot.

    I just started watching Requiem for Vengeance. I'm only two episodes in but I'm liking the series so far. The animation doesn't really bother me since the story has been pretty good so far. I do like the concept of Gundam being the evil monster though. It's funny because I've been playing Mechwarrior 5: Clans lately, and in that game you play as the bad guys too.

    I saw this review of some other ChowBrick non-Lego set and it looked pretty good. None of the bricks looked warped or damaged. I don't know if this will be the same quality. Is Chow-Brick the name of the brand or just the name of the store that sells these non-Lego sets? Is Jie Star the brand name?

    Blocking Japan was probably a big factor to it. Plus we're not exactly as big of a community as the Gundam and Transformers fanbase.

    Mine had the same thing, but not that bad. I tried bending it straight lightly but didn't do anything. Hopefully it gets fixed in future releases.

    I don't get it. I stopped collecting any of the Macross toys above the VF-1 when I had so much disappointment in the VF-25 series. This VF-31 just looks weird to me, especially with that large back sticking out like that.

    I know there are sites like Buyee that lets you buy from Yahoo Auction Japan but I've never used them before. How much does it cost in fees and shipping usually for something like a DX Chogokin Valkyrie to ship to California?

    I just saw the movie and I was surprised how much I liked it. A lot of fan service and some great scenes with Megatron.

    I'm not a fan of those large gaps between the intake on the legs and the chest piece in Valkyrie and Gerwalk mode. That Tomahawk armor is interesting though.

    I think it looks cool even though its not anime accurate and a parts-former. I've never had any Moshow figures before though so I'm just weary of the quality.

    I love the HMR toy line simply because of the Destroids and Zentradi figures. I wonder if they'll do Macross Plus or Frontier next once they're finished with the SDFM and DYRL toys next. I would love to see some of the updated Destroids from Frontier.

    How often do they get restocked? I wonder if they have a preordering system for new stock comes in.

    Oh you're supposed to slide one over the other to close it properly. I didn't know until after I read the instructions over again. The only gap that stays open are those cable holes.

    Can someone tell me what this is worth? The box is in good condition with no tears. The only issues the toy are 1) the knee joints are loose from having a wide space in-between the teeth of the ratcheting gears they used for it, 2) a small nick inside the bottom half of the heat shield from having to fish it out to raise it up, 3) a small crack on one of the nek cavity filler. Otherwise all the other joints are good and the nick doesn't show up in front when it's in Battloid mode.

    Hey guys, just wanted to share some pictures of this new Branboll hangable display cabinets from IKEA. They fit the 1/48 DX Chogokins pretty well vertically, and can probably fit a couple smaller figures horizontally. They’re only $30 and come in white or blue.     Does Kaiyodo have any plans of rereleasing the Macross Revoltech figures?

    I just finished selling off the last of my Metal Build collection to focus on Macross. Then my friend buys me a GFFMC Zaku II out of the blue for my birthday. I feel like a jerk if I ask to exchange or sell the figure so now I have to pair it with a RX-78-02 to appease my OCD. That Gouf looks pretty awesome too though.

    I haven't had issues with the rotating swing bar but I'm not a fan of the buttons on the legs. I thought the buttons were a cool idea at first but now that I've transformed it several times, its more of a nuisance when you're trying to extend/contract the legs while you're holding the toy up. You also can't twist the knee unless the legs are extended.
