It's been a while since I ordered from HLJ, but did they always charge a handling fee on top of their shipping? I don't recall that being the case before.

I just saw the movie and thought it was good. It kind of reminded me of the 80s fantasy adventure films like the Conan films, Krull, and Red Sonja.

I got mine today from Amazon JP. Shipping + tariff came out to be 11704 Yen, but I opted for the expedited shipping. They did lower the price on my pre-order to match the recent price drop, so in the end I ended up spending roughly $249 for the toy and shipping in total. I don't understand why Bandai would make the stand adapter for fighter mode into three pieces using these tiny pegs. I feel like they're going to snap off when I pull them off. Also, the pivoting gunpod handle that you're supposed to use in fighter mode doesn't work too well. The gun keeps wanting to snap into place so I can see why previous photos we've gotten show the gunpod in a weird angle.

This has been an expensive month between this, the HMR VF-19P, the DX VF-19, and the tariffs.

I thought you had to pay shipping from the seller to Buyee’s warehouse and then another shipping charge from Buyee to you, along with Buyee’s service fees. Shipping to the U.S. wouldn’t be so bad if DHL wasn’t the only option available on most of the site I shop from. Their processing fee on top of the tariff is overkill. I’ve seen the processing fee be double the actual tariff amount.

The tariff tax will be the same for all carriers, but the actual rates the carriers charge for their services will be different. EMS shipping through the post office is usually much cheaper than DHL, FedEx, and UPS. Even the processing fees are different by carrier. For example, DHL charges an additional $17 duty processing fee on top of the tariff and actually shipping cost on items while FedEx only charges $9.75 + tariff + shipping for items valued under $200. To further complicated things, you get discounts if you have an account with specific carriers.

Does it actually look better with the longer arms? I would of thought the short arm was the best height for it in fighter mode.

Does anyone have pictures of the Archi Pro stands with short arms and the 90 degree angle connectors on a Bandai DX VF-1 in fighter mode? I'm curious how far you can angle it without risking it falling off.

I don't know... Gorrila's picture looks like the panels were transformed properly. The edge of the toy looks pretty straight and the stripe matches the front portion of the plane. Looking at the box art, I think the stripe doesn't line up on purpose?
