    I didn't have any issues with the VF-171EX Revival either. Everything worked and had the right friction right out of the box. The only issues I've ever had with the Revival Valkyries has been with Alto's VF-25F having a one loose shoulder (which I was able to fix), the VF-25F Tornado's loose cannon/back panel, and the recent VF-27γSP joints that I mentioned.

    I got my VF-27γSP Revival and am little disappointed that the hips were not as tight compared to the recent VF-25F Tornado or Armored Ozma Revival release. The legs aren't floppy but can definitely tell they're loose.

    Hopefully a third party upgrade comes out that addresses the chess void and the leg attachment. The large derriere doesn't bother me too much, even '86 Prime has a big butt.

    From what I can tell from that video, the joints and that pelvic attachment looks tight. Hopefully that QC problem Cod roe got with his unit isn’t common.

    I don't know how I feel about these Toynami chunky monkeys. I always wanted to collect them again but Toynami doesn't have the best track record.

    I know it's just X translation. I wonder if he's saying that his older toy has weak joints because it's been on display for a while. I wish he'd clarify if the new version is well made or not.

    No, new VF-1s from Bandai this year. Everything coming out so far is either a Frontier reissue or Macross 7 related. All the new VF-1 releases are from other parties like ThreeZero and Unix Square.     Yeah, I just picked one up. Came out to around $110 with shipping. It’s still not as cheap as what Mandarake is selling it for, but it’s been hard to find them in stock there.

    I'm not a big fan of the Valkyrie, but the Tomahawk armor for it looks pretty good.

    I got that same email and thought it was funny how they highlighted the "may now contact customer support to request shipment" part. It's hard to read on my phone and I thought it was some spoiler they were trying to hide.

    Mine came in today. Surprisingly, the VF-25 itself is super tight... tighter than the Ozma Revival was. Unfortunately, I'm not too happy with the Tornado armor itself. For some reason the long twin beam cannon mount pops off easily on my unit. Also, because of the weight of the wing attachments, the wings tend to open up in battloid mode causing the booster/missile pods to touch the back of it's elbow. Aside from the cannon mount however, the rest of the Tornado armor stays on pretty well. Also, with all the accessories mounted on the wings, I did notice a slight sag in fighter mode.

    I wonder what these would be like inside a PC case. It looks short enough to fit standing in between my video card and PSU hood.
