Least I can do Rune. Quick update....Rob has not been able to get Tanmen on the phone...either he is not picking up, away, or screening his calls. Ive asked Rob to keep trying....but I dont have a good update otherwise. We will write an email in Japanese (Ive tried this before...but will do so again) in hopes he will respond to that. Sorry I dont have more information. On the bright side Shawn was telling me abouit some very nice and generous things Tanmen did for him...I really believe he is a good person...hopefully this is just a bad situation and he will remedy it.

Thats a good point by Noel...if it does not have metal landing gear you basically have to build it gear up...the resin wont hold the weight.

Cool...I love these types of threads...and I needed to reorganize my closet anyways...so here goes... Bclubs and a Tanmen Ostrich My beloved Club M Collection (and BlackAces awesome recast!...Mike Salzo and Vitja's QRau recast not in picture) (oh..and a YS GBP) Bandai, IMAI, and ARII My Hasegawa collection (minus F-14 and Angel Birds More resin kits Some IMAI Mospeada kits (love these!!! ) Some Gundam kits more... ...so lets see...I finished 2 models in a year....if I get twice as fast...yep...Ill still most likely be dead before Im done!!!

I have the Club M non-Wonderfest VF11. (with armor, solid fuel boosters...) Its a gorgeous kit. I have been thinking about recasting it, or giving it to Valkyrie to recast. (thanks for letting me mention this Valkyrie....I feel bad for Grayson getting bombarded! ) Whats the holdup? Well...its a lot of parts, and I can't decide if I want to do it myself...the project intrigues me...but the work doesnt. So...I have been making Valkyrie be very patient. It was also a dammed expensive model, and one that was suprisingly hard to find (I looked for about a year before one turned up...which is odd...since it should not be that rare...makes me wonder if people are holding them to selll down the road) Anyways....I eventually found it with the help of a lot of internet surfing and Monkey Nugget (thanks Rob!!!! ) It was a fluke I am very happy about as the VF11 is one of my favorites. So...here is the question...who would want one? I have no idea on the price, but based on the number of pieces ( a ton! )and a 10-15 kit run its probably in the $65=$75 range. If I can get enough confirmed people who want it Ill get off my arse and either do it or make a deal with Valkyrie. (Hey Grayson, if you want a set of the boosters, FP's, armament and armor Im sure we can do that as well )

Last email from Tanmen was sent to me: Tue 6/24/2003 11:16 PM I responded to it with more questions and have sent multiple emails since that have not been replied to. Monkey Nugget has again agreed to try and help us (with his partner) contact Tanmen by phone. The last word we got from him was also through ther help, and he said he would ship in Oct (and email me...which he did not) Rob and his partner really have been going the extra mile for all of us on this. I wish I knew how to speak Japanese, or had a way to easily communicate with Tanmen without their help, but I dont. Im hoping they can reach him,a dn get us a positive update soon, but please be patient with them, they have lives too. I do know They tried to call yesterday, but Tanmen did not answer...they will try again...and I will pass on what news they gather. Many thanks to Rob (Monkey Nugget) Watson!

Believe me I wont. Im only suggesting if he emails me like he should and says "Im shipping it next week" I will ask if he has anything already ready he can add to the order....I don't want to be mean either...but Ill be clear if its ready and no impact great...otherwise no dice..

At this point your best bet is to email Tanmen. If and when he contacts me to tell me things are coming I will ask if he has things ready we can add into the order. If he does I will let people know so they have a chance to buy them.

Well...no new news...no responses to any emails since the first part of the order arrived. Ive asked for help again calling Tanmen, as the order was supposed to come in Oct. Ill let you know what I hear.
