Well...lets see...I see GBP recasts and molds...I see VF1 leg armor recasts and molds..I see VT/VE wing recast...but no molds...I dont see any other VT molds or VT recast FP parts (or the cockpit etc)..... perhaps you just forgot to show these...or perhaps your working on copying the parts you have now to make the molds. Arafat, also to respond, you offered to keep me molding "night and day" for 20K a year recasting. I said no thank you. I don't know what that has to do with anything, but I will be happy to confirm you made the offer.

the current facts are fairly simple: Arafat orders a Rob recast Super O Arafat says Rob never sent it or that he never recieved it and trys to get his money back Arafat shows off a recast Super O. Rob asks for pictures of the inside of the pieces to check identity of the pieces. I ask to see the molds. Arafat does not have to do what we ask. Arafat does not owe me any alliegence, but if he wants to gain more of my trust or Robs, or anyone else he would do that. Arafat sent me a note accusing me of being childish and assaulting him. I don't see it that way. I'm calling things as I see them...I would call this extremely fishy. If Arafat decides he wants to address my allegation then he may choose to and I will be more then happy to say I was wrong.

OH MAN OH MAN!!!! I am so very jealous! My advice...give it to me...! Would you post some pictures of it? I'd love to see how many pieces it has...I always talked wanting to recast this kit...but I suspect that would be impossible...(or too many pieces to make it reasonable... ) Still I would love to see it! Good luck, and please keep us in the loop as you tackle it! WOW! (can I ask..how much) ?

Well...a little over a month and I am not much farther along...Im working on a couple other projects which is distracting me. I have nearly finished one leg. The gear doors were a real challange for me. I wanted them thin enough to look right, but could not hinge them at that thickness. I tried to copy what Yamato did on the 1/60 ...and failed. Then tried some L joint parts..and they looked huge in the tiny gear bay....I finally made it work by making a hole with my smallest pinvise bit and hinging the doors with 10lb fishing test. It took me about 6 scraped doors before a got a straight hole that went the length of the door without breaking the surface...and then was able to hinge it in place...but it finally did work. The end result is the gear doors do actually open and close....! I was so very pysched when I finally got that working...the I realized I had to make them fit right...mor tries..and finally got it. Then it was time to add more details to the gear doors, and gear bays. I have a lens to place in the forward gear door, but it is not yet glued in. I did try to add more realistic interiors to the bay and doors and mount a new landing gear assembly. I filled in the old stabilizer, then re-etched panel lines, and replaced it with a new stabilizer. Then a lot of putty and sanding. The darn metal has been a bear to remove all the seam lines from...there is probably a trick..but you can't scrape it at all like a plastic model...so I keep puttying, sanding...and repeat. I finally thought I was nearly done, so I primed it...only to find there are about 4 areas (screw holes and seams ) I need to touch up more...and notice areas inside by the feet I need to detail and seal...so thats next...then Ill finish up the wings and start on the other leg. Pictures...

MSLZ22 Katakarot (SP ) Jung (and more I am sure) I dont know how much it would cost...but if there are 20 or so of us and we each chip in $10....or perhaps a free recast to the builder...

I can't disagree with his sentiment in the PS (the idea that he doens't want young men and women killed)...but I also can't help but feeling that he is off topic. I would really like to appreciate his position...but it feels like he is confusing two very different topics. IMode...thanks!

I'm all for this. I do know Rob has had another comrade who is a toy dealer like Seiichi call him...which helped getting us the first toys...perhaps someone else calling him might put more pressure on him. I dont want to insult him...but I do want this situation resolved.
