I tied the fishing twine directly to the hinge joint...is that bad?!?!?!? LOL....actually its tied all the way arounf the body in a cradle....and doubled off with an "emergency" thread. Theres some risk...but they are not going anywhere unless my son reaches them. They were supposed to be peeling off into battle...but my Hikar likes peel away from the fight every now and then. I liked seeing the belly of the Low Vis as it turns, so he is out of formation. Edit...oh...and notice the original leg armor color? I always wanted Yamato to do the TV 1Js with the original FP color for the tips and legs...so I did it myself! ) Love my Strike Max!

hobbyfan and e2046 are selling knockoffs. The originals have metal parts. COurse...the originals take years and contacts in Japan to get...while Hobbyfans show up. Also..the seam lines on the hobbyfan kits are a little worse..not much..but a little.

Man oh man...what I intended to do this weekend...and what I did...well...two very different things. Sorry for the delays...but the first kits will ship tomorrow...more to follow soon. Im gone for a week starting Satruday but Im casting early and late each day before I leave and as soon as I get back so we will start cranking through these. I should start contacting more people soon. Also, we will be getting Anasazi the source materials he needs to work on the decals very soon.

Assuming it was all new, and not a recast, it would be different. I'm not sure about licensing (whether he bought a license...and would there be infringement) but I would suspect not.
