The Tanmen VF4 never made it out. I wouldn't list it as a result. What about the Gundamhead Spiderbug kit? (It also has not made it out...but unlike Tanmens VF4 I know the bug will make it) There are two Club M VF11's...one wonderfest varient and one for sale version. Also there are to 1/72 scale Ghost kits...1 with FPs and one without. Also the IHP stuff...some of it is listed as 1/72...though I guess it's generally considered non-scale. Thats everything I can think of right now otherwise...nice list DOH..sorry...I guess I should have PM'ed this...sorry.

Sorry I have been slow on this...work this week has been terrible...just no free minutes. I have sent notes to all the people owed money who will not recieve their kits. I got some responses from them, but not all. (If you have not responded or didn't see my PM please contact me) I intend on figuring shipping and sending notes to people this weekend to collect shipping costs. Then Ill start packing kits and get them shipped out. For people recieving a replacement kit I would like to wait until everyone has responded (some of you have asked for extra kits and such, so I need all responses before I can determine who can get what. ) So...summary...People awaiting Dragons from original order should hear from me this weekend...and Ill ship your kits out next week. People awaiting replacement kits or awaiting a chance at additional kits we need to hear from everyone first.

Reading through the thread I think John's cost concern is very valid. As much as we all say "OHHHH I want that" in regards to all these kits...I suspect the number of people who can (or will) actually afford the kit drops as the price of the kit goes up. While I would love the Glaug, Pod, GBP, VF17, VF9, etc...it would seem that perhaps their rough price should be considered. I would hate to see Rob and John spend the time and money to sculpt the definitive anything only to have them only sell a few because it was too much money...so..whats the sweet spot...of all the kits listed what can you (or would you ) spend. For me...$100 is the sweet spot....more then that and I think twice. Less then that and Ill buy two. $200 is rough, but attainable for the right kit. $300 is almost out of reach. Here are rough numbers of what I would comfortably pay for the options listed. These are not what it would cost, but rather what I could affored or could rationalize. People listing what they would pay might help Rob and John balance the ties and the serious commitments on this poll. (hope Im not overstepping my bounds here) Regult 1/72 - full kit $150 option parts $60 Glaug 1/72 - $175-$200 Gun-Pod (Human Sized) - $60 (and I dont know where I would put it! ) Zentradi Soldier 1/72 - $50 Nousjadeul Ger (TV) 1/72 - $100 Nousjadeul Ger (Movie) 1/72 $100 VF-17 1/72 - $150 to $175 GPB-1 For Hase Kit $125 VF-9 Cutlass 1/72 $150 - $175

Oh yeah! VF5000!

GBP would be cool....so would 1/72 Glaug or Pod enhancement parts...I love Graysons idea of a 1/72 Pod conversion kit (Scout kit, small and large missile kit! ) Course the darn originals are hard to come by...so it might make sense to offer a simple cast version as well. VF9 - very cool Other ideas: What about the shuttle that took Misa? Metal Siren in 1/72 Fighter VF2J in 1/72 fighter Mac0 Destroids in 1/72

LOL! Thanks Nick! Do you have one of these mounted in your Valk-car???

Hey all...looking for some advice....want to get my son a Gameboy type system for Christmas. He'd love to be able to play any Macross/Gundam type of games as well as all the basics. Is the Gameboy Advanced SP the way to go? Is there something on the horizon I should wait for? I saw the pictures of the new PStation Portable..but it sounds like its a couple years away from the US....anyone with news or help to share is appreciated.

Okay....I have the boxes...the eagle has landed.... So...here is where we stand...I have sent notes to the parties who will be most directly effected by this...(those of you who are owed money and did not get the kits they wanted) Im offering them the replacement kits I asked Tanmen to include. Once they get back to me I will offer up any that are left for sale. My hope is to cover the costs of shipping and money owed to MW members through kit sales as opposed to charging people any extra (though I appreciate the sentiment) People who requested Dragons...your kits are in. I will try and get some boxes and get them ready to go out. I need everyone to pay for S+H from me to you though..which will probably be like $7 for USPS priority for a Dragon. Ill send out notes on these as well. PLEASE NOTE! - We have less kits then enough to go around for everyone...when we did this poll last time some people did not want to geta Dragon...so I am assuming they will decline and want their money back...if everyone wants a kit we will come up short...(SIGH ) Anyone on the order or not on the order who would be interested in buying a Dragon please send me a PM...I will start making a list...first priority goes to people who were on the order..then to any interested buyers. I can't gurantee we will have any to sell, but Ill make a list in case. Im offering this assuming several people won't want a Dragon from the order and will want their money back. Thanks all. Jesse

SWEET!!! Please keep us updated on your progress! How big is she?

Cool...any idea how long you have before you have to pull the piece from the mold (the original. ...does it shrink over time or as it cures? ) BTW...is that a Cylon part?
-
love the D! Sweet news!
-
AWESOME work John!
-
Love the VE-19!!!

another shot of the other 1/2...no dew this time! NOte...there is a thin spot behing the engine...Im no sure why that happend...it is fairly thin on the original...and could just be generational shrinkage, but seems odd...Im going to mess around with it...good news is it is invisible when the pieces are put together. Anyways...Im very pleased with the details on the casting...hope you agree (and remember..these are test casts...so after some venting changes this should be even better. Thanks to John for the instruction...and to Rob for including me. Cheers!

Here is the front of the other 1/2. This is also after zero cleanup...straight from the molds. I took the pictures outside and the small bubbles are water spots from the dew on the table.
-
Here is the underside and all the seams.
-
Same piece from the side...check out the rivits! Youll note a thin film of flash in the front...but thats actually from the underside not the surface.
-
So...here are the parts.... This is the first casting from 1/2 of the fuse. The grey spots are clay that was still in the mold from the base This piece is directly from the mold...no cleanup what-so-ever by me.

Well....as Im the one slowing things down now I wanted to post a quick update. I got the parts...and man...wow..amazing work. John was nice enough to send on nice directions for some molds and completed molds for some of the kit. (As an aside...I would like to publically thank John Mosacato. As MacrossWorld members go (and just humans in general) he is really an amazing person. About a year ago now John started nicely offering tips and advice on my casting. Little things at first...bigger things later. Always incredibly understanding Johns patience and help has opened new avenues and new successes up for my casting all with his time and knowledge. John didn't have to do this...and I wanted ot publically say thank since he did) So...all the pieces are pouring now. In addition I made new molds for all the smaller pieces and will be making new masters for the entire kit to hopefully speed this process up (pour more then 1 kit at a time or at least 1 kit at a time) The last molds I need to do are more engine thruster molds. The first new one is curing now, and hopefully I will pour masters of it and all the parts tonight. More mold material is one the way for the extra engine molds I need to do and then I should be ramped up. What I finished last night were the first molds for the fuselage. These were the only molds I did not have...though John nicely wrote instructions. I took his ideas and tried to make the molds...but unfortunatly I seemed to be cursed on Saturday.. Nothing worked just right...in the end...after wasting about $100 in mold material, wrecking some clothes, and getting resins in my eyes and hair I did finally get some molds done. Bad news, they wont last as long as I would have liked, but good news is they work. Ill make new fuselage masters tonight and start making kit Fuselages tomorrow. Im particarly pleased that I was able to keep all seam lines away from the outer surface. So...while it looks like sanding will be a minimum anyways...it will also be easy as you wont be re-etching lines.
