Gunmetal would be interesting, but very dark. The BlackWidow and other nioght fighters were (I think) a very dark navy blue. I think, if I were you, I would try gunmetal but be prepared to highlight it.

I bought a nice small plastic one. It was like $75 and is rated up to 29". Not as cheap as coby's, but reasonable in the scheme of things.

odd....so I dug out my model kit....it still has the parts sealed in their little bags....has the licensing sticker (I know it's not a boot)...yet..no instructions. Anyone else have this kit...the only thing mine has for paperwork is a small piece of paper with a line drawing of the mech from behind and a lot of writing in Japanese. I have to assume that they expect you to be able to build it with the picture of the front (on the box) and the picture of the back (in the box) Anyone know for sure?

Congrats!!! They change your life...and definitly for the better...if your like me your modeling time will dwindle...but their enjoyment of sharing it with you and the joy of teaching the skill is worth every lost minute!
