Yep...all the weight bearing or thin parts will have metal rods embedded in them. Its another thing that raises the cost, but it's necessary for a lot of the kit.

Im in Manhatten (34th or 66th) usually twice a month. Ill be there Monday Wednesday and probably Thursday next week. Might have some time on Thursday or sometime for lunch if people want.

Update - Jesse is burried! Kids birthdays, mothers day, baby showers (3 of them! ) sick kids, 3 upgrades going on at work, 3 of the last weeks with me on the road (NY, New Orleans, LA) = Jesse is the holdup! Sorry guys. I told Gundamhead I would probably need a month to get to this...and thats probably accurate. I would guess that I should have an update in about 2 or 3 weeks when my life normalizes. I have the supplies...and have laid everything out...just no free time.

I have 3!!! AND THEY ROCK! My son, daughter, and I will all be jedi this halloween!

Its too bad...they do nice stuff but it seems their customer service is terrible. Personally, I don't like to take money unless the kits are a sure thing and will be out in a reasonable time. Beyound that, I find when things do come up (as long as they are reasonable) if I just talk to people it makes all the difference in the world.

The amazing thing is there are details you can't see in my pictures. Within many of the little raised details are minute details...I swear Joe is hiding a access to a laser or something...they are sharper then a pin...unreal detail on this baby! As for timing...Im probably a month away from starting...so thats 6 weeks to go live. Right now, for people who are interested please tell Joe. If we have enough interest I can keep the price down on the kit by gang molding...but that will only raise the price if there isn't enough interest. We won't be asking for payment for a while though, so everyone has time to save. CHEERS!

Finally...as a comparison...check out the WF one...the final insult...the pistons pictured on the acuator are not part of the kit..you'd have to make those yourself! and another shot and here is my original - dont she look sad...

Here are the details that go on the base...just random stuff you glue on for detail (and to hide holes for screws) and the base (with me setting "stuff" on it)

the other side of the arm. Check out the detail inside the armature that goes on the end of the arm. The one in my kit had no detail...none on the arm (just a rectangle...no detail! ) and none in the armature!
