A friend of mine recently came back from Japan. Brought a bunch of Valks at stupid low prices from a store in Tokyo. But only discovered at the hotel they were second hand, and had peices missing. Just make sure to know what you're buying.

Then again wasn't the F-117 a late seventies concept, first flown in the early eighties, and only revealed in 1990? Who knows what's up there right now. On another note, what has happened to the SU-47 and the replacement to the Mig-29?

I would still want the 0D before the reactive armour... Anyway, got a Friend that is offering $60 for my V.1 1J Hiki. I'm tempted of using the money towards this Vf-0S... Dunno what to do...

After re-watching the Virgin Road episode, I really do hope that the Valk comes with an additional pair of Max and Millia but wearing helmets. Or least some pilots. As I noticed in all the pics thus far (Hobby search and ect) none of them show the virgin road with any missile pods or the gunpod. Hope this won't be the case, as at the end of the episode it did do battle? As for the VE, I still feel it needs missile pods and the gunpod options. It is after all a long range reconnaissance plane, and does need some form of defence, albeit even though it can't mount a gunpod, but at least some missiles?

I actually like the Alto. Hoping it won't be floppy like the 1/100. As for the Q-Rea... It's just too small... Damn, I hope the 125cm is not including her shoulder cannon!!!

Like the V2 DYRL Valks? Edit: Just went through various pics of the VF-0S, and having just watched Macross Zero (again ), I do feel that the VF-0 needs a redesign. In batroid it's not sleek, and the legs look too short. In Gerwalk it doesn't have the natural lean like the VF-1 V2. I say bring on the V2 VF-0!

As I live South Africa and that Neill Blomkamp is South African, there is alot of hope here that he will finally bring a South African vision in sci-fi. Gavin Hood, another South African, unfortunately stumbled with Wolverine... Though there I blame Hollywood producers that took advantage of his novice experience and told him to follow the script.

Is the Vf-0S in a grey white plastic, or that bright white plastic like the Hiki 1J? Cause I'm tempted to buy a re-release of it.

There are a couple of figures I never purchased in the past cause of various reasons. Now they're sold out, out of production, and their price on Ebay is rediculous. And I regret it. Ask yourself, do you really like each and everyone of your 1/48? If you treasure them, then keep them. If not, then maybe sacrifice one to try a V2. The choice is yours, go for whatever you feel inside and live regret free.

I'll rather go for first the VF-11 of Millia's...

Opening pieces for the missile hatch and cockpit with pilot usually could mean additional assembly, additional finer paint detail? Of maybe the Vf-25 is just smaller...

I was hoping that the Q-Rea was that slightly more expensive cause of being larger the VF-25. But after reading all the details guess it's cause of all the little extras and not size. Which is fine by me as look as the paint job on it will be great... and not the disaster of the 1/100...
