Hi Graham, would Yamato do what you have proposed? If there is a possibility, i would like to wait for the VF-1S TV style to be released and at the same time hope they have the problems present for the VF-1S series to be solved by then. It would be cool to have accessories or ground crew or an improved pilot to replaced those from the earlier series. But seriously would Yamato do that, i kinda of doubt so...cos they have stopped allwoing the replacement of broken or missing parts.. Cheers

hi guys, Sorry for the late updates. Bad news guys!!! It seems that Yamato corrected part of the problems present on the 1st issue of the VF-1S Roy. I checked the 1/48 VF-1S which i gave to my cousin as a birthday gift and found out: 1) Crooked Skull Fixed. 2) Arms able to bend 90 degrees. 3) Head seam still present but slightly close up. 4) Gap along fuselage present As well as the other improvements incorporated in the low vis and max versions that Graham mentioned. Really dunch know why there is a contrast in the quality between the VF-1S Hikaru and VF-1S Roy especially the head seam. Noticed another thing ...the S head for Roy has the Red dot but the S head for Hikaru has the Yellow dot...mixed up in production? Thats all for now, sorry no pictures as mine is still MISB , aint got a digicam now. Cheers

Hiya guys, After work today, i pop down to Wondershowcase to check out any new items that Noel (Blackaces) has recently brought in from Japan and at the same time to chat. To my surprise and astonishment, the 1/48 VF-1S and VF-1As reissues have arrived. Immediately i grabbed 2 sets of the 1/48 VF-1S reissues which Noel kindly wrapped each of them in translucent plastic wrappers. Its a nice surprise as i expected the reissues to be released somewhat later in december. At the same time i placed a deposit for the upcoming Masterpiece Optimus Prime from Takara. Nows all that needed to complete my 1/48 DYRL collection is the 1/48 VF-1J/Fps.....and maybe a 1/48 GPB armor..... please Yamato? So guys in singapore, if you have missed out on the intial releases of the 1/48 VF-1S Roy and 1/48 VF-1A Hikaru, just pop down to Wondershowcase. By the way, i check the quality of the reissues, they have all the improved features that was incorporated in the 1/48 VF-1S Hikaru...Skull emblems straight, Seam along the S head minimised, Improved nosecone and flaps,Improved 'easier opening' front landing gear doors. Noticed the gap along fuselage area is minimised, but the pilot retains the old sculpt. So VF-1S Hikaru and VF-1J and Low Vis at the moment have the unique pilot sculpts that are different from the rest of the DYRL series. Box appearance still remains the same, color black, no version or print indicating reissues, so guys check your purchase carefully when you are purchasing the reissues. Sorry for the rant.... No pictures by ways guys, sorry cos i dun have a digicam and in addition the valks are sealed up MISB. Maybe Noel could kindly take some pictures of the box to show ya. Hi, Sometimes seeing you guys awesome collection like those of CHAN, S I T H L O R D, grassland and so on, puts my collection to shame, but im consoled that im not spending too much money on toys especially the 1/48 series. Boy the upcoming december is going to put a big dent in my wallet...1/48 VF-1S Roy Reissues (if they are issued in December), 1 1/48 VF-1J Super/Fps, 1 Masterpiece Optimus Prime and 1 BT-02 Sidesweep. But its going to be the best christmas i had cos of all these wonderful toys to get. Cheers

Nice! I noticed that above and below the display cabinets are the storage area for most of you 1/48 boxes. Is that where you keep most of your boxes? Gosh how tall are your cabinets? i was thinking of customising mine in the future like yours. Do you have an overall shot of the whole cabinet from top to bottom? Cheers

You can say that again. 15 1/48s, 15 sets of Fps. Given the VF-1J/Fps is coming out this december. That will bring a grand total of of 18 1/48s, 15 1/48 DYRL Fps and 3 TV Fps. Really envy his collection man! I only have 2 1/48s and 2 Fps. Geez. Cheers

Hey KYQ, i think we should thank our lucky stars that Yamato products are pretty much affordable here in SG than in other regions, except for graham who lives in HK. Im also a macross fan by nature but when i saw the binatech line and the upcoming 20th Ann Optimus prime, those are a much get on my list, not forgetting the 1/48 VF-1J coming up in december. Oh my poor wallet. Opps i forgot i have to purchased the 1/48 VF-1S reissue and 2 more sets 1/48 Fps. Man i would be chewing on bread for the next two months. Cheers

Hiya, Yes i agree. Lets just be patient and give Yamato time to finish their design and final preparations before announcing its release. Haste makes waste. I for one would love to see the new YF-19/Fps in the M+ series, i bet it would be awesome. I would also love to see another YF-19?/Fps be produced in the form of Super Nova scheme other than the VFX-2 series scheme. That would be a pleasant surprise...white with blue stripes or white with orange stripes. Cheers

Anyone getting the 1/1 DYRL helmet? Im considering one, maybe only. I bet CHAN and S I T H L O R D will be getting them too. Okie back to the topic, my best guess that you will probably be seeing the 1/48 VF-1J/Fps be packaged like those seen in the 1/60 series especially the super, strike and M&M series. However, the major disadvantage will that the 1/48 Box width will be increased to accomodate the valk with Fps, but it will look cool. More storage bewilderment coming your way. Cheers

It will be cool to see someone customise a 1/48 VF-1S in eith Bluerose scheme or the Minmay guard scheme with the decals of Devin. Hey Devin if you have time, please do the 1/72 Blueroses decalsfor the hasegawa Stike battroid for me. By the way Devin, would you be offering the 1/48 valks and 1/48 Fps decals/stickers set at the end of the year again for ordering? Hope this time your Alps printer wun die on you again, touch wood. My opinion is that what Wmcheng did with his 1/48 VF-1S/Fps is the best. If he gets the 1/48 VF-1S Hikaru, i cant imagine how superb it would look with his touches. Cheers
