Any updates? Btw is neova handling orders in the SE region? Cheers
-
i wouldnt mind if the low vis was a sky blue splinter camo (like the blueroses custom the fulcy did) looks better that way, as for the stealth version would rather prefer it to be uniform color, either dark blue or black. Gosh the VF-0S looks gorgeous, gonna grab two of these. Hopefully yamato does do a VF-0D and VF-0A in the near future. Cheers

You can see there is a ball-joint in the center of the hand, but this cannot be done with only resin and a ball-joint. A polycap has to inserted inside the small block piece located closest the wrist. Without the ball-joint and polycap working together, the pieces would just flop around. The other option is to cast this as one piece so not ball-joint or polycap is needed. It is basically the TV fat hands style. CLICK HERE for further GBP details and review. 371608[/snapback] Hi NBAM, Tks for the info, its of great help. Would it possible to show pics of the recast hands without polycap and ball joints and recast hands with polycap and ball joints once you are done with them? Tks another question is that would it be possible the shrink the recast GPB hands a little so as to suit the 1/48 VF-1? Btw what are side covers, search through the thread but havent seen any pics of it? Tks I would defintely be interested in 10 pieces of these hands. Cheers

sighs the low vis looks kinda of yucky..while the stealth ver is quite acceptable but not outstanding in its choice of colors combo. And the stealth is a VF-1J Strike? Should be a VF-1S Strike instead Looks like the money would go to the ver 2 GPB or another piece of the 1/60 VF-0S Cheers

Hi NB4M, Sorry, whats the difference btw Hands WITHOUT the ball-joints and polycaps and Hands WITH ball-joints and polycaps? Pardon me for asking as i havent got a GPB yet . Can these hands be inserted into the regular hole pegs of the 1/48 valks? What are side covers btw as im clueless without a GPB? PS: pictures would be greatly appreciated to add in the explanation. Tks Cheers

Waiting for news of recasting these hands, hopefully you can shrink it to a size suitable for 1/48 VFs Cheers

Im having trouble deciding wether should i go for decals in terms of realism and conformity or just stickera as a better alternative to that of yamato. As for preference of choice, it would be Devin's stickers /decals. Now, the question is has anyone used Devin's (Anasazi37) stickers on their 1/48s? How translucent and clear are the edges surrounding the details when pasted onto a colored surface as compared to yamato's (Yes i know it aint comparable with of a decal )? How strong is the adhesive strength of the stickers? Is the sticker sheet of the make 3M same as what takatoys uses? Hope you guys can provide me some insight on this matter, pictures would very much be appreciated. Tks for the help and assistance

interested in 4 sets. any updates? Tks cheers

Think it would be one or two for me at the moment. i would probably leave it in fighter mode...looks cooler that way. Btw graham, what do you think abt the possibility of VF-0A or VF-0D being made? If yamato were to do the SV-51s, what scale u think they would be in? 1/60? that would be quite tall, long in both battroid and fighter modes. Maybe 1/72..but that would be shrink the size of it PS: Long time no see, really need to catch up with u guys, noel, neova when im back in HK. Cheers

What i see...no seams along the nose area..again i maybe wrong. color wise would be prefer a greyish white instead of the off white. Oh well, guess have to live with it.

Time to get right back into collecting macross since i have strayed away from it a long time especially with the amt of 1/48 reissues and new releases are being churned out. Cheers

that is one badd ass helluva beautiful job...love the scheme..fits the VE-1 perfectly as a stealth elint seeker..perfect for blending into the outer space. congrats chris for getting such a beautiful masterpiece. Cheers

Did mine for abt SGD$2200 which is a 10ft in length, 9 ft in height with downlights and have a depth of 20 inches...finishing is laminated matt silver over plywood construction with its interior pvc white with abs plastic trimming over the edges. Doors are tempered glass with locks. Will post pics when it is done..currently my place is still undergoing renovations. Oh yes one of the walls of my study room is hacked down and replaced with a tempered glass wall..allows one to look at the display cabinet from the living room.. I must say im quite guilty of indulging too much for a display/study room for my valks and other collections. Cheers

Great job 007-vf1!! Can see you spare no effort into making this custom a masterpiece by adding in details like wiring, hydraulics, and so on. Beautiful piece of art. Cheers
-
Great work Jon, im sure many modellers like Jessie, Wmcheng, Grayson and so on will drool over this baby. All that is needed to make this piece complete is Devin's decals. Outstanding job in producing such a masterpiece. Cheers

Incredible!! Gievn that the 1/72 VF-0S kit wasnt released much too long ago, and the japanese have created a transformable VF-0S in battroid mode as well as a reactive armour for it. Looking forward to see the pictures! Cheers

Congrats Graham, just make sure you keep him/her in the micronized form otherwise you will have a problem feeding or taking care of him/her. Be sure to post pictures of the baby. Graham is going to suffer many sleepless nights when the baby has arrivied..panda bear eyes. Back to the topic, the VF-0S looks cool, wonder if there would be other variants like VF-0B or SV-51 after this release. Currently am more interested in the knig monster (transformable). Cheers
