  1. I don't know if the main hangar of the daedalus was always pressurized. At least before each deadalus attack they would have to evacuate (the air not necessarily the people) it.
  2. Looks like you will have to glue the wing gloves shut so that you don't accidentaly swing them up and destroy the decal.
  3. Macross Quarter is about 270m high in robot mode. The model is 30cm high so that puts it at 1/900.
  4. You can even fly it in YSflight. Physics are botched in the latest VFX release though.
  5. popular opinion is that bandai only owns the 1/100 scale licenses.
  6. All the VF-19s and the YF-24 are now in.
  7. Using a HOTAS joystick on that game is just unneeded wear and tear. Everything more sophisticated than a gamepad is waste. The graphics are nice but that is because they use detail textures from photos for the ground instead of the usual satellite pictures. The graphics honestly aren't that good. It looks like Lock-on with added HDR. The sensitivity of the steering is far too low and I hate that I constantly have to roll the fighter to the vertical to get it to turn instead of maybe 45° angle and gently turn up. Other than those issues it is sort of fun. And the chance of seeing 50 planes gets me excited.
  8. The quarter is in 1/800 or in that general area.
  9. You could pre-cut the stickers at the seams so you can take the parts apart without them ripping or coming loose. I am not sure if that would work on all of them as I don't have my super pack yet.
  10. Yeah, adding those mounting posts that yamato used for ages couldn't have been difficult. Bandai cut corners on a lot of parts that necessitate additional compensatory parts to circumvent the inherent flaws in the toy. (difficult-words-ccccombo!) Aka the landing gears, clip-on speakers, armor pack mounts, sucky gerwalk...
  11. The 1/100 and DX have such short Battroids because the legs are mounted in the wrong spot. I guess the 1/100 loses a cm or so due to that.
  12. If the stickers are fitted you can't mount or unmount the packs without ruining them. Especially the hip stickers will be destroyed.
  13. No, I just checked my order history and noticed that there are 2 Klan figures pending instead of the one I payed for. I think they are supposed to ship mid-late march
  14. The 1/60 looks pristine to me.
  15. Preview in Macross Launch celebration or something
  16. if I were to build the model without caring that much about stubs and just put it together as fast as I can, it could be done in maybe 3-4 hours. Stub removal took me the longest time in the building part.
  17. The Revy YF-21 doesn't even have panel-lines.
  18. What? Yamato never released a pre-panel lined standard S. The only things panel lined were the weathered editions as far as I know.
  19. Just noticed that Over-drive as always had some order troubles again and nearly sent me two Klans for the price of one. I struggled with my conscience and decided to tell them. Too bad, I could really need the money but I won't start "stealing" stuff with a toy. Only software, music and movies...
  20. Only problem is that every VF before the VF-25 pulled the same maneuvers and they didn't g-loc. Maybe they had some early compensators built in, but less efficient with more energy draw.
  21. Hmm? I thought the bundled packs costs exactly as much as a single VF-25F plus the decal set: Bundled 6500 yen Single VF+Super= 4500+2000= 6500 yen Though you do get the molded missile covers in the bundled set.
  22. Nice so you get the super Ozma and then you need to get another Ozma just to build it with the cathy decal. The super pack would scratch it to hell within seconds.
  23. Yeah, those very long and thin carrier deck markings can bundle or rip quite easily. A sticker that long and thin would probably start to peel after a week.
  24. I will only get stuff in 1/100 that either won't be getting a 1/60 release or is only for the completionists like the RVF-25, or the YF-24. Still betting on a DX VF-171.
  25. Lousy visual design is subjective, lousy engineering is objective. Dx is mechanically solid but looks crap, the VF100 looks just as bad but has 2 billion parts and not only looks cheap, feels cheap but also isn't cheap.
