  1. I still think that it would have been cool for M0 to feature Dragon IIs instead of F14s, and maybe some Karyobin, but I guess that would have been uncool and retro too I also am of the opinion that, no, the VF-1 does not need a redesign. Nor does the VF-0.
  2. Miss Macross Pine Salad Good-bye Girl Aiwa Nagareru
  3. The 1S super reissues seem to show up periodically at around $100 on ebay. The Max/Millia 1Js usually trade at $85 to $125 each. Haven't run across a Hikaru 1J in a while myself, so dunno
  4. Great stuff, again. Looking forward to seeing a successful flight test of your 'new' model Thanks much for the repost Luke.
  5. You had previously posted some video links to some of your first models flight tests, but they seem to have gone 404. Do you still have any valid footage available on the web? I'd love to see the videos again (I wasn't smart enough to save them the first time). Thanks for sharing and keeping us posted
  6. I scrolled through the linked message board, and though I don't know exactly what I'm looking at, this caught my eye. Figured you guys would enjoy
  7. Kung Foo Dandy. Worst. Episode. Ever.
  8. I had a premonition that something would be amiss when the Ebay search results for "Macross" turned up 666 results. Forget the Takas and Bandais, MOC Converters are where it's at now http://cgi.ebay.com/1984-Convertors-Macros...1QQcmdZViewItem
  9. Thank you Father & Mrs. Jack. 'Tis truly a lovely gift.
  10. I need a 1/48 right rear landing gear strut for a traumatized CF. Please send me a PM if you have one to sell. Thanks.
  11. I'm not so sure about the Wonder Twins, as they've always sort of freaked me out (Zan and Jana seemed to have had a kind of squirelly Osmondesque quazi-incest thing going on). ...But a Legion of Doom show would be pretty happening. Nothing better than a bunch of nightmarish freaks in spandex out plotting the world's ruin from their semi-submerged skull shaped fortress in some swamp. Rock on.
  12. I think that this looks pretty cool. I also like the first few books better, but this seems like a story that could do really well as a graphic novel series. I'd give them room on my bookshelf.
  13. I agree, DeathHammer. The series truly ended after Octopussy, and arguably should have been ended sooner. Roger Moore was OK, but quite a ham. Tim Dalton was a non-entity. Brosnan missed the boat by twenty years. IMHO, of course.
  14. Didn't Yamato state some time back, that the CF was to be the very last of the 1A models? I suppose that this could be taken to mean new 1A models, but my first impression was that they meant 'last is last'. As in, buy now or be sorry.
  15. Well, lessee... Bond should be a Scotsman, ala Connery. Should have razor wit, ala Connery, and should exude sex appeal. I nominate Fat Bastard.
  16. Very nice work. I really like those pencil sketches of weathered trees, good stuff
  17. I didn't forget; it was omitted
  18. That phrase originated from a speech that Al Gore delivered at a past MWCON, shortly after his invention of the internet. He went on to proclaim that "Reactive armor is the shiznit!", and assured us that we would all know what he was talking about "Soon enough". Gore then mounted a jetpack and disappeared through the ceiling. Honestly, I have no idea m8
  19. Because you're a masochist? 331872[/snapback] I think you're right. An oddly insightful and intelligent response from someone who reads the 'Weekly World News' Bring on the Death Cloud!
  20. And I had always thought that I was the only one. "Goliath", with Michael Ironsides and Emma Thompson. Made for TV movie circa 1984. Why on earth is it that I can remember terrible stuff like this, and not things like the girlfriend's birthday? Bring on the Death Cloud!
  21. Damn. I hadn't heard about this yet. Missed it by that much. RIP
  22. I think norge71 is probably right. These appear to be Star Wars quotes. Nevermind the exceedingly poor quality of my shrunken-down screenshots - see it for yourself. That's totally aside from the point.... I think... What was I going on about?
  23. ...And you know this, why? I thought that you were OK, up until that comment. BTW, the UFO-flying-lizard-alien guys that live in the center of the earth are gonna be pissed about this one. I have it on good authority.
  24. Something strange must have corrupted your installation. My HWTC mod still works, and it's been simply copied across three different [Win2k] system formats without reinstallation. If all else fails, send me a pm and I can help. Cheers!
  25. MikeZ, If you are unable to get it working using your current video card and need to perform a cheap upgrade, I'd second the choice of a 6600GT. Best bang for the buck in that price bracket. An ATI 9800Pro is a very close runner-up and is still a fantastic card even now. My old one still chugs along quite happily in my old P4 2.6 LAN rig. If you really wanted to make the most of that widescreen HDTV, $300 will buy you an X800XT All-In-Wonder. I bought one of these to replace my old 9800Pro in my current P4 3.4 rig, and the number of features and options is simply staggering. It gives you TV and FM tuners, a multifunction RF remote, innumerable A/V in and out options, time-shifted recording of live video and audio (basically a TIVO unit integrated on-card), and is very flexible in display setup. Paired with your 52" TV, it would be really sweeeet. Good Luck!
