  1. Your artwork looks great. The real sticky question, is should I look it up as an 1D or an 1J? *edit - Your art is that of a recolored 1D, but there is a bit of 1J-ness going on too... What's it going to be? And, yes, I'm trying to make trouble for you
  2. That subject was broached fairly early in this thread. The informed consensus is that the bluff surface is unavoidable in toy form, though darker coloring would surely mitigate that. When all is said and done, it is what it is. Looks like it would be easy to mod/repaint.
  3. Oops, I made a typo there on the "1A/1D" reference, which you so astutely picked up anyway. Thanks for the reply, and thanks for all of your hard work. Cheers.
  4. Very nice work, Mr. March! I spent about an hour and a half last night (well past my bedtime!) checking out your updates. Top notch. I have two questions for you: 1) Is the 'Virgin Road' valk listed anywhere? I didn't see it listed as either an 1A or 1J. This may be opening a can of worms... 2) How the heck do you manage the time between lending your help here and updating the M3?
  5. Oh, I think that stand-alone FP sets will eventually become available... When they feel like it... Eventually
  6. It's probably that the "dull" blue one is the same "groomed" copy that has been displayed at all of the shows. I honestly wouldn't expect much improvement for the Aoshima release. The CMs isn't looking too hot either in my opinion.
  7. For the benefit of others, where did you find them?
  8. Unfortunately, they're pretty much sold out everywhere. There are a few sets on Ebay, but they are being sold for waaay more money than is justified. As Jenius mentions in his review, here's hoping for a series 2.
  9. That was pretty funny. Sure, the show could have been 2/3rds shorter without all the repetition ("Hate this movie","Bey is a retard"), but it wouldn't have been nearly as funny. I loved the description of the soundtrack titles - the Sting one had me rolling. I've listened to a bunch of your shows, and you guys have definitely hit a stride. Keep it up.
  10. That is a tough call. Myself, I'd lean toward the SOC. It is a lot more bang for the buck IMHO. The 1Js are floating around, so it shouldn't be too tough to track one down when you're ready.
  11. Ditto that. Only slightly?
  12. Agree with Pat. I bought a nice MIB 1/60 Nikick with nice box for about $60.00 too. I'd judge $45.00-$50.00 for yours.
  13. Good to hear actually, Eugi. I hate it when guys bid me up to my cutoff unnecessarily.
  14. Wow, beeyootiful. I bid against Eugimon, but his budget surpasses mine. Exquisite work.
  15. We can only hope. Best. Monster. Ever.
  16. Mister_E is correct. They have thus far managed to produce the 1/100s and the man dolls as Macross product, but the substantiation of right is still kind of dubious. There is no chance that we'll be seeing anything newer than SDFM/DYRL designs from this company.
  17. Looks like the 'deluxe pack' super valks will be around $30.00, and the common scuttlebutt on the fastpacks by themselves is that they'll be around $12-13.00.
  18. IIRC, in the original continuity, the 'Jaunty Legioss' was replaced by the more technically advanced and stealthy Shadow Legioss. The Shadow had the advantage of not walking with a cane.
  19. Oooh. 1/100 Cannon Fodder! That and some fast packs would make my day. Oh, yes, and the Tread too. * Edit - Interesting, the pictures above show on the display card that the 1/100 Series Three is a "Super Valkyrie Deluxe Set", ostensibly with fastpacked CF, a Hikaru 1S, and a Roy 1S... Odd choice for the third series imho...
  20. My newest Orguss toy acquisition: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...486&st=340#
  21. There is one man here, who possesses the knowledge you seek. Beware, though, as his answers are, at best, cryptic. That man is Graham. Muuaahaha.
  22. Yeah, me too. I have only the "C" type MIB, would love an "A" type.
  23. Dang, you guys should watch the show. Jim agrees to marry Mint in the last TV episode. That's why they're shown as a couple in LLA. Not making this up. ** Ahh, Keith beat me to it. Barely. **
