  1. That is a tough call. Myself, I'd lean toward the SOC. It is a lot more bang for the buck IMHO. The 1Js are floating around, so it shouldn't be too tough to track one down when you're ready.
  2. Ditto that. Only slightly?
  3. Agree with Pat. I bought a nice MIB 1/60 Nikick with nice box for about $60.00 too. I'd judge $45.00-$50.00 for yours.
  4. Good to hear actually, Eugi. I hate it when guys bid me up to my cutoff unnecessarily.
  5. Wow, beeyootiful. I bid against Eugimon, but his budget surpasses mine. Exquisite work.
  6. We can only hope. Best. Monster. Ever.
  7. Mister_E is correct. They have thus far managed to produce the 1/100s and the man dolls as Macross product, but the substantiation of right is still kind of dubious. There is no chance that we'll be seeing anything newer than SDFM/DYRL designs from this company.
  8. Looks like the 'deluxe pack' super valks will be around $30.00, and the common scuttlebutt on the fastpacks by themselves is that they'll be around $12-13.00.
  9. IIRC, in the original continuity, the 'Jaunty Legioss' was replaced by the more technically advanced and stealthy Shadow Legioss. The Shadow had the advantage of not walking with a cane.
  10. Oooh. 1/100 Cannon Fodder! That and some fast packs would make my day. Oh, yes, and the Tread too. * Edit - Interesting, the pictures above show on the display card that the 1/100 Series Three is a "Super Valkyrie Deluxe Set", ostensibly with fastpacked CF, a Hikaru 1S, and a Roy 1S... Odd choice for the third series imho...
  11. My newest Orguss toy acquisition: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...486&st=340#
  12. There is one man here, who possesses the knowledge you seek. Beware, though, as his answers are, at best, cryptic. That man is Graham. Muuaahaha.
  13. Yeah, me too. I have only the "C" type MIB, would love an "A" type.
  14. Dang, you guys should watch the show. Jim agrees to marry Mint in the last TV episode. That's why they're shown as a couple in LLA. Not making this up. ** Ahh, Keith beat me to it. Barely. **
  15. Thanks for the links guys. Looks like the hands on the Orgroid do not in fact fold into the arm, but are removable/reversible along with the arm cover. Interesting.
  16. Sorry, Eugi! Just kidding of course. Still keeping the kids locked away from your valks?
  17. Well, that makes one of us
  18. Correct, but iirc the odd thing is that the hatch marked "L" is on the right, and the hatch marked "R" is on the left... either that, or they are both marked "L"... Would have to unpack mine to recall/verify.
  19. Roger just posted this over at TBDX: 2007/05/46.html Lots of nice pics.
  20. Aww, man, sorry for your loss, but that is just TOO funny. Sounds like something that would happen to me.
  21. Take a very close look at the hands: the hinge pivots for the fingers look way different the the old ones - especially evident when looking at the upper surface of the hand on the green one. Also, there is a noticeable "shine" to the plastic, whereas the old ones are a non-shiny matte grey. Who knows, I could be out in left field on this one, but somehow don't think so.
  22. Not to derail your thread, but I've got a couple of the little co-ax Dragonfly King type copters. They are very stable, and lots of fun to play with - though beware, they won't work too well out of doors. Any little gust, even a draft from a fan in another room is enough to send them swooping out of control
  23. Nice, ruskii. Glad to hear you got the killer selection . Since I got a pre-picked batch, I already knew what I was getting before I opened them, so no Christmas excitement here The CF is my favorite too, but the Supers are pretty dang cool too. Odd that the Miria 1Js seem a magnet for weird little problems, so to speak.
  24. Not so sure about the hands... They look significantly different than the Nami Toy's (the old ones are a darker grey "gummy" plastic, whereas these look lighter in color and slightly glossy). Other than that, the missiles and coloration stand out as the only really visible differences. The shoulder scopes look the same as old, so not so sure about rumors/conjecture about their being mountable in fighter mode.
