  1. Thank you, dojumpjump
  2. A persuasive, yet overly-convenient argument, my sith-like friend . My highly honed Jedi-senses pick up the undeniable undertone of sweaty palms being rubbed together... And unspeakable evil, of course. Looks like the Alliance is out in front in the polls.
  3. Thanks, Graham and Swoosh. This looks like pure sex. It will be a while before I have mine (preordered through TMP), but the early indicators really look good. Now, to change my underwear
  4. Yep, you got one of the originals
  5. I think that what Zinjo means is this: What does it say directly under the word "Perfect" on the front cover? "OUT-8", or "OUT-10"? Also, would you mind upping a pic of the back cover? Does it say "Macross Perfect Memory" on the back too? Is there small text on the back cover running vertically down near the spine, or price info in the upper right? Sorry for the interrogation - there are multiple reprints and bootlegs of this book, and we've been trying to get them sorted out here for quite a while Enjoy the book, as Mr. March states, it is really great.
  6. That's only because you're schizo.
  7. Sometimes?! You are too tolerant sir.
  8. I think that you are right. If you think about it in the same terms that someone like, oh, say, Asimov did, you should be extremely worried.
  9. Wow, John Player Special valks. That's original
  10. Pardon? Boxing Error? All products pulled? Eh? What did I miss?

    VX-9 "Vampires"

Damn, very, very nice Wicked Ace. Top notch work.
  12. You know, a while back, Luke (IAD) was talking about the feasability of doing an RC gerwalk, iirc.
  13. The 1/60 GBP actually looked pretty decent. Its main fault was the forward crotch-armor piece, which wouldn't stay seated. It's pretty easy to rectify though, using just a piece of [hidden] scotch tape. The rest of the parts were not problematic at all. I voted for the Blue Guy, as it's the most iconic to me.
  14. I'm not a cell collector, but absolutely beautiful stuff here guys. Thanks you all for posting these here.
  15. Thanks for the links, wolfx. These are supposed to be a pretty small-scale, no? Was it 1/18 or so?
  16. Your artwork looks great. The real sticky question, is should I look it up as an 1D or an 1J? *edit - Your art is that of a recolored 1D, but there is a bit of 1J-ness going on too... What's it going to be? And, yes, I'm trying to make trouble for you
  17. That subject was broached fairly early in this thread. The informed consensus is that the bluff surface is unavoidable in toy form, though darker coloring would surely mitigate that. When all is said and done, it is what it is. Looks like it would be easy to mod/repaint.
  18. Oops, I made a typo there on the "1A/1D" reference, which you so astutely picked up anyway. Thanks for the reply, and thanks for all of your hard work. Cheers.
  19. Very nice work, Mr. March! I spent about an hour and a half last night (well past my bedtime!) checking out your updates. Top notch. I have two questions for you: 1) Is the 'Virgin Road' valk listed anywhere? I didn't see it listed as either an 1A or 1J. This may be opening a can of worms... 2) How the heck do you manage the time between lending your help here and updating the M3?
  20. Oh, I think that stand-alone FP sets will eventually become available... When they feel like it... Eventually
  21. It's probably that the "dull" blue one is the same "groomed" copy that has been displayed at all of the shows. I honestly wouldn't expect much improvement for the Aoshima release. The CMs isn't looking too hot either in my opinion.
  22. For the benefit of others, where did you find them?
  23. Unfortunately, they're pretty much sold out everywhere. There are a few sets on Ebay, but they are being sold for waaay more money than is justified. As Jenius mentions in his review, here's hoping for a series 2.
  24. That was pretty funny. Sure, the show could have been 2/3rds shorter without all the repetition ("Hate this movie","Bey is a retard"), but it wouldn't have been nearly as funny. I loved the description of the soundtrack titles - the Sting one had me rolling. I've listened to a bunch of your shows, and you guys have definitely hit a stride. Keep it up.
