Funny thing is, that was I think the longest preorder so far. Amiami closed down in 4 minutes. Edit: Did HLJ have an order limit like everyone else per household?

It's a great valk, but not VF-17 great, you know? I wouldn't pay more than $220 for it, unless it is in a bundled pack of some sort.

Anime-Export, Amiami, HLJ... I wouldn't worry too much about those places. But yeah, nice to have a backup. Especially since BBTS would get their order a little later than the Japanese stores, so you could always cancel the BBTS o order once you have confirmation your other order is in and ready to ship.

I think you'll be fine. It sold out now. Anime-Export had this written on their 171 page, and I figure truer words have never been written: This will sold out fast so... be faster.

I think BBTS was able to fill 15% of their 25S order. If I'm BBTS, I'm ordering whatever that equivalent 15% was for the 171. You'd be stupid to repeat the same mistake so soon after and risk pissing off more customers. They could always put the extra stock they can get in up for order after the release. That said, I don't put it past someone at BBTS to get overzealous with their ordering again...

I don't know if it's accurate, but all I do is add in something like 500 for an order, and the site automatically adjusts down for remaining stock if the stock amount is less. 6 left. I wonder what their original stock amount was? Any guesses? 20? 30? 40? 50? My guess is 24

I find with HLJ's 20% off EMS discount, things are a little closer when it comes to the overall price. I do like Amiami's new monthly order combining system. Much better than HLJ's.

Also, why so cheap? I thought for sure BBTS would ask a ridiculous amount. Maybe $209 is just a 50% deposit amount.

You gotta figure BBTS learned their lesson from the 25S short stock and cancellation. At any rate, if you're one of the first to preorder, you should be fine. There were 14 left in stock last I checked.

I want the M&M valks, but I am waiting on a reissue. I figure it is inevitable. The eBay clowns can suck it.

Made to order would be best for sure, as far as I'm concerned. Bandai doesn't have to risk extra stock shelf-warming and at the same time, they make the most possible money and fans are happy.

My VF-27 has held up surprisingly well. Besides the shoulders going loose (something as others pointed out, is very easy to fix), nothing has gone wrong. No paint chipping, no breaks or stress marks. And I've transformed the crap out of it. However, I still want a renewal version. I know others want a Michel or Luca first, and I certainly wouldn't say no, but if I had a choice, I'd opt for a renewal 27. It's just my favorite design. Fighter and gerwalk are fine, but in battroid, it looks like the shorter, stumpier young brother.

In his description, he says his interests are sarcasm and hyperbole. That said, I hope the first run isn't flawed. Cause a lot of good collectors are gonna get boned for no reason. I hope there aren't people here that are wishing ill will to fellow collectors. I know I'm hoping for everyone to be able to get a 171.

I wouldn't if I already owned a 1D. Only reason why I'm getting it is not for the accessory parts, but for the valk.

I don't mind floppy joints so long as there's no actual breakages like the v1. Floppy joints I can fix.

Not me. I love the white color. But I would have preferred the CF version fist since I don't have a valk that color. Too many white valks already. But I am glad we are getting it anyway. I think a CF is inevitable... But then again, this is Bandai we are talking about. Nothing seems like a sure thing.

Who knows? Today? Tomorrow? A week from now? HLJ tends to go at their own pace. For everything. That said, should be up soon since the release is in April.

I'm pretty sure Bandai will do this right. It'll be a NUNS stand and it will be tampoed as well. There's no reason to believe they'll go backwards. Ever since the 27, they've been moving in the right direction.
