    sorry, when I said obscure, I should have said valks with brief appearances in shows. It was on screen in the movie for two seconds, so I doubt Bandai will make a YF-19 with Frontier decals and super packs. Obviously it's not obscure, since it had a whole short series starring it, haha.

    I would KILL for a new YF-19. Preferrably by Yamato, but I'll take it if Bandai does one (Which they probably won't. When it comes to servicing us geeks with obscure valks, that sort of stuff is Yamato's M.O.)

    The recession has hit everyone. Consumers are buying less, and companies as a result are producing less. That said, Bandai is being especially skimpy with their Macross production. I think there's room to produce a bit more without resulting in mass quantities shelf warming. You take a company like Hasbro that overproduces, and then a company like Bandai which under produces. I think there is a fair middle ground that could be found. I know I have curbed my spending habits. I have dropped many other toy lines in anticipation of all the money I'll have to spend in order to go full hog on Macross this year. That said, I'm still being choosey. I bought the 19 Kai and 17S up front, but I just picked up a 19 Blazer at a huge discount, and will only be buying the 17D at a discount. Why? I just don't have the money to buy up front everything Bandai and Yamato release. I also figure I support the lines well enough by buying the 17S and Kai. The Blazer and 17D, while I want them, are not necessary, and if I couldn't find them at a discount, I wasn't going to buy anyway. It is what it is. We all have to watch our money.

    I think because it's a hero valk, it will sell out pretty quick. I think that's the reasoning behind Bandai releasing that instead of a CF anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if everyone and their dog wants one of these too. I am really excited to see how they pull this one off. Bandai has a tall task ahead of them if they hope to produce anything even close to the beauty and engineering of Yamato's 17. Chances are though, this will retail for much less than the 17 did, so already it has something in its favour.

    The armour and weapons will be a web exclusive. There is no way they bundle it. So far everything on the renewals has been a separate release.

    Boom! Fixed my loose wing problem. The right wing on my VF-25S was loose right out of the box, so I used krazy glue to fix it. (Thanks to Razer at TFW for the fix.) I put a dab of krazy glue at the joints on the underside of the wing joint so no one can really see it. Then I folded the wing back and forth repeatedly until the glue dried. Eventually the wing gets stiffer and stiffer. This is important: DO NOT let the wing just sit. You have to fold it back and forth all the way (don't just wiggle it) or else the glue will set and your wing will be permanently frozen! Also important: Don't use too much glue. You only need a tiny bit. If you use too much, or don't fold the wing repeatedly during the drying process all the way back and forth, you might get build up and your wing will not go down or up all the way, thus messing up transformation. (I don't want angry nerds spamming my PM box with death threats cause they f'd up ) You'll get a little bit of glue crystallizing, but just rub it off and it's all good. Good as new! It is just as tight as the good wing, and I have transformed it a couple times since, and it's all good. Takes about 5-10 minutes, depending on drying time.

    That would be awesome. I would definitely by both. But I'm hoping Bandai announces the other Messiahs first.

    The thing is, does ishop2go charge for the full preorder up front or not? I'd rather not put a fully payment on a toy where it's basically going to be a 50/50 shot as to whether the order gets filled or not, considering how skimpy Bandai has been producing these days...

    According to people on this thread, it was up Feb 7th for a few minutes then almost immediately went to order stop. Amiami had theirs up on Feb 1 and it only lasted for a few minutes also. Someone else at another forum who makes orders all the time through their distributor, just got told the 29 preorder has already been cut and stopped. Usually he could order all the way to the last day of the preorder, but it got closed early on him. Also, considering BBTS had their VF-25S order only 15% fulfilled by Bandai, chances are this 29 run seems VERY limited.

    Yeah, I wish Bandai would ease up and quit being such tightwads with regards to stock. I've been very lucky with preorders so far, managing to snag what I want from amiami, but I am so paranoid I am going to miss out on the others.

    Hopefully bundles, but with Bandai, who the heck knows? Nothing they've been doing lately seems to make an sense. They may just do a straight reissue like they did the 29.

    If it goes up that high, I'd be tempted to sell mine! I could use an extra mortgage payment, lol Probably won't hit more than $325-$340. Probably later this year after the Super packs and Armor packs are released.

    Yes. What surprised me though was the fact that Bandai didn't bother to bundle the 29 with the super packs. I thought that would be a no brainer. Ah well. What do I know? Nothing, if you ask my girlfriend.

    If you don't have an Ozma by now, you might has well wait and hope for a bundled set. Not a guarantee, of course, but IMO, the renewals aren't worth $300. I paid $220 for the VF-19 Kai, and $280 for the VF-17. Those are superior birds as far as quality and build go, so paying that kind of price for one of these renewals isn't worth it. Don't get me wrong: I love mine, but anything above $220 is too much.
