Doubt its stuck at customs as Australia Customs pretty good as it the items are below $1,000, it duty free. I'll see whether it turns up next Monday, if not will follow up with the post office. Wished Japan didn't stop registered SAL.

Still waiting for mine to be delivered from CDjapan Almost 5 weeks now since they sent it out. This is the longest I ever have to wait for a SAL package to reach me.

Link to my original picture of where it broke on the knee joint. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=37652&p=1060427

I have a VF-171 where the knee broke as well but managed to glue it back, but have done so multiple times, so it's not really holding well. I think I was the first to report the issue of the knee breaking and appears more and more people are having this issue now too. The issue appears to be the plastic batch used to make the CF.

YF-25 was one of the easier to get considering it stayed on HLJ and CDJapan for a good amount of time. Just wait and see whether NY drop their prices as they have done so on other releases when they are not able to move stock.
-
How true I was like whether I should buy it, then decide okay I will go to my meeting and then come back after an hour and chances are it might be gone. But it's still here and tempting me.
-
When they have an order limit, you can only add one to cart and not more. The way some people try to order more if to place multiple orders which is when HLJ will send you an email. Still deciding whether to get another as I got one from CDJapan already.

Thats' not good to hear. So the leg appears to be an issue now as well for the CF VF-171. I first reported it when it came out when my VF-171 leg just feel off. Then I read Duymon had this issue in the VF-171 thread. And now another. The issues with the CF must be due to the plastic they use. Afraid what else might disintegrate and fall off.

We don't know how NY operates, how they secure stock what agreements they have with their suppliers. Just imaging you operating a business where you take preorders without upfront or partial deposit, and then 30% of those orders get cancelled. If you commit to your supplier to order certain numbers, then you get stuck with the stock. If prices goes up, good on them, Down bad for them. If you are able to cancel them, then the supplier will see you as unreliable and in future or with the current orders may cancel them. We don't know how profitable the YF-29 Ozma is to NY given that they have to secure stock from other places to fullfill their orders. For all we know, they may have made very little or no profit just to fullfill their orders. Any excess stock they have now, then they will be making profit, but they may not have on their preorders.

I just got my shipping confirmation from NY. I guess I am one of the last one to get theirs but happy that they finally sent it out and fullfilled their orders. Like I said when it was first put out for preorders, this is Ozma, so demand will be high and I wouldn't take the risk that this will be readily available after the release date. I am glad I got my order from NY even with the small markup during their preorders.
-
As someone mentioned previously, NY is shipping by single orders first, then I guess they go to doubles, and so on. So the more you order, yours will be towards the end.

I received preparing for shipping last week, but still have not received shipping confirmation. Might send them a ticket to chase up.

Edge of Tomorrow, on DVD/Blu-ray Oct. 7, 2014
Valk-1S replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Can't wait for this to come out the moment I saw the trailer earlier this year. Glad to see it getting lots of positive reviews now as well when some people were saying that it will be a flop before anyone watched it. Hope it does well when it opens.- 180 replies

12 days is nothing to worry about. If it has been about a month, then I would start to worry. SAL can take from 1-4 weeks and sometimes even longer.
-
Not surprised. Mine is more than 1 and my YF-29 Isamu parts is also more than 1. I am yet to get any shipping notice from them. They need to go to a first paid first shipped system.
-
Still haven't heard anything about mine. Shipping method EMS. Looks like EMS always the last. I am still waiting for my YF-29 Ozma as well and thats by EMS too. It sucks now too that for Australia, they no longer shipped Registered SAL. They should really put EMS ahead of SAL given you pay more for it to arrive faster. But what they actually should do is ship by priority of order or payment made as thats the most fair method to me.

This theory could be true as mine was inspected when I received them with no cracks, and then left in the box in fighter mode and recently checked them to sell them, cracks appeared on them. Two had cracked NUNS. The others had cracked black triangle pieces. Only one remained QC free at the moment. Might have to transform that one to battroid if this theory is true.

Same here on NY. I think they will fullfill it but will just take time for them to source it from other suppliers. The only gripe I have with them is not sending out based on order of payment or when you put the order in. They appear to do it randomly which is not fair if they can't fullfill as people who ordered and paid first don't get it and those who paid later do. We don't really know what happened to their orders, but if its really to do with people cancelling on them, then they should really start to charge upfront for preorders or a non-refundable deposit. How many of those people who finally managed to secure an order with HLJ or other sources, went and cancelled their order with NY. I bet there is quite a few out there, and just by reading this forum here you know it happens quite a bit. It's not fair of them to commit on orders and then being stucked with them. Perhaps their supplier deciding to cancel their order with them was due to them reducing their order due to people cancelling on them. Without any inside information, we have no idea, but I would think NY will try to fullfill their orders and hopefully they have good network of suppliers over there to do so. As I posted when the preorder begin, this is Ozma valk, which I believe will be higher in demand and it's currently showing it.

You don't even have to transform it for it to break. Just like 6 out of my 7 all have cracksor breakage problem. Bandai should actually offer replacement parts for their VF-171 CF and make sure the replacement parts uses better plastic.

Mine also just shipped but then I get an email after the shipping notification to tell me that they no longer able to send by SAL Registered to Australia and ask me to change the method and they will invoice the difference. So I am confuse as I get an email to tell me they sent it with tracking number and then another email telling me to change it.

It's still below retail by a little. Cheaper than CDJapan which I could have ordered yesterday but decided to wait for NY or HLJ as looking to order 2 and CDJapan shipping is pricy. Amiami and Hobby Search was nuts. Both I did see the add button but couldn't add it.
-
Keep an eye out at NY as sometimes they do restock it but the price may go up as well. See whether you can put your email on their notification for that item.

The VF-171 NUNS and black triangle are really bad. I have 7 of them. I inspected all of them when I got them and one I had a major issue with a broken leg, broken NUNS and broken black triangle piece. The other 6 showed no signs of any cracks or breakage. They have been left in the box and recently I went to check them out as thinking of selling some of them away. Now 2 of them have one broken NUNs each and light cracks on the black triangle pieces, 2 with one badly cracked black triangle piece each, 1 with light cracks on the black triangle piece, and 1 still in mint condition. I regret opening the boxes now, as I should have kept them sealed and sold them sealed.

Typical NY service. I ordered and paid ages ago but have not received any email from them. They probably still shipping out randomly and those who order and paid later might get theirs before those who ordered and paid earlier.
-
Really ticked off with the VF-171. I originally checked all of mine and all looked good except for one with bad NUNs, and cracked leg and triangle piece. Took photos of another one to put up on Ebay over the weekend, and what do I noticed, crack NUNS and cracks triangle pieces. No choice but have to sell it cheaper now. Afraid my others are like that as well.
