1. Get the crooked skull on the tailfin right for all future releases. My Kakizaki have the dreaded crooked skull again. You would have thought Yamato would not have this issue anymore with their multiple releases of the VF-1 line.
2. Just got Classic SS. Some of the joints are really tight. The smaller wings at the tail took a lot of force to fold it up. Overall I am pretty happy with it.
3. With the number of 1/48s I have I may not be soo into the line but if it looks really nice I may pick at least 1 each.
4. Found the post on the other person who brought this QC up as well but it was for a VF-1A Hikaru Reissue.
5. This is the QC problem I have with my Hikaru 1S. The two small tabs/pegs that holds the backpiece in place so that the hook thing can hold the backpack in place especially with the FPs are not present. So there is no support at all if you put the FPs on without the white piece that came with it. Both my Hikaru Reissue is like that and I recall someone mentioning about it as well. Pics from Sebastian post to show what I mean. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...st&id=34511
6. It could be possible the backpack doesn't get folded up in battroid mode for the ghost to remain attached. Have a close look at ghostrider110 pic. To me it looks like the backpack/tailfin is still down and not folded up. That could be the reason why Yamato never put a latch to hold the backpack up like the 1/48 did.
7. I haven't tried to remove this piece, but if it can be done so, this could be another point for the Ghost attachment.
8. It's amazing, but at the same time it isn't. It's just 4-5 years of working and saving and sacrificing overtime. You other people have problems like Gundams and Votoms and Chogokins Not me. 421187 You sure you're not going to get into gundam. What's that Infinite Justice doing on your computer
9. According to Neova website, the VF-0S Ver2 should be out around end August.
10. Neova is still around. He may be busy with work but is still providing his services to MW. Shoot him a PM and he should get back to you. I know at one stage he mentioned he will be busy. Could be the month of July.
11. Just had a browse at HLJ and the VF-0S is not in stock yet. They are expecting it to be restock this month - July. So until they receive their stock, they will not charge your card yet. Just log into their website once they have their stock in and you can check the status of your order.
12. I am assuming you mean HLJ. They can take a few days from when you place your order. The need to debit your card first but the actual charges may not hit your card till half a month later. The longest if I remember correctly was about 5 days for me. But all my details were provided correctly when Iplaced the order. You can also check the status of your order from their website.
13. From what I understand, these aren't technically reissues, just the second part of the first production run, so still expect loose knees and elbows. A proper improved second run with tighter joints should be out later sometime this year I think. And of course the upcoming VF-0A should have all the improvements Graham 412006 HLJ have the VF-0S being restock in July. Will those be the reissues or are they also the same first production run? Thanks

HLJ has it coming out in August now
15. Finally had a chance to open one of mine last night. Everything was perfect except the knee swivel joint was a little loose. Also, 2 out of 7 the airbreaks don't close as well as its sticking out a little. Was pretty scary to bend the legs down to transform from fighter to gerwalk. The lock was soo tight, that I had to use quite a bit of force to get the legs down. Almost afraid I broke it. The zero looks much better proportion wise to the 1/48 but the 1/48 locks in place much better.
16. Heh, that's why I just sold my last mint in box 1/72 YF-19 on ebay. Graham 410097 I saw that you sold a Low Vis too and about to sell a Max. Is that another hint?
17. I wouldn't feel bad for those who purchased the 1st Issue. Other than Yamato making the joints tigher, nothing else has been mentioned to be improve. And don't forget, sometimes Yamato goes from better to worse. ie Crooked Skull. Other problems that happen to the 1st Issue will still happen in the reissue. eg incorrect arms, broken spike on tailfin, wrong magnets, etc. Unless there is design updates like the 1/48 - nose cone and wingflaps, ppl who have bought the 1st Issue shouldn't feel bad for the reissues.
18. It’s pretty difficult without taking it out of the box. Unlike the 1/48 where the arms can be seen clearly due to it hanging down low the VF-0 arms are pretty high up in between the legs. It’s still possible to check, however, you will need to remove it from the box and try to look in between the leg and arm for the screw holes. You might be able to make the gap between the arms and legs a bit bigger by trying to move the arm or leg aside. But without taking out of the box it’s pretty hard.
19. I find that the tailfin problem is not really caused due to the box but more of the factory worker who packed the valk into the box. If you look at the valk when in the box the spike on the tailfin is not touching anything, so unless your box was damage on the side where the tailfin is, the spike should be okay. When you try to put the valk back into the plastic tray and before pushing it down in place you will notice how the tailfin sit on the flat piece of plastic on the tray at the back. We would normally take extreme care when pushing down in place but the factory workers prob just push it down with force without taking care of the spike and thus result in broken or bend spike on the tailfin and this is probably why some have gotten theirs without the broken piece as the piece prob came out of the tray when the valk was force into the tray.
20. I would say that the Ghost will be sold seperately and not bundled. It will make it easier for Yamato stock to move. It will give buyers the flexibility to choose which valk they want and to add the Ghost if wanted. Plus by the time they release the Ghost, a lot of ppl would already have the VF-0S/A and would be looking more to just get the Ghost. Unless they surprise us and release the Ghost at the same time as Shin VF-0A. 1/48 bundle packs were all released together with a new variant and never bundle with a previously released Valk.
21. Plus there is no guarantees there will be a version2. Maybe a reissue the same as the first issue. Best keep an eye out of dealers stock. If they are selling fast then most likely we may see a reissue. If not then better consider getting one before you have to pay premium for it later on. So far there is nothing major to cause for Yamato to retool the VF-0S. We have to wait for more reviews.
22. This happen to the VF-1 as well. Just cross your fingers and hope you don't get one.
23. The normal Stealth and VF-0S and display stands are out in Japan. Check out Hobby Search. http://www.1999.co.jp/asp/GoodsDetails_e.a...nce_right_e.asp http://www.1999.co.jp/asp/GoodsDetails_e.a...nce_right_e.asp

25. SAL is only worth it if your package weights less than 2kg. If over it becomes pretty pricy becos it doesn't get categories as Small Package SAL.
