I think as far as SOC is concern, thats it for evangelion. The next three SOCs will be from the Getter line. By the way shouldn't this be in the "other anime or science fiction" area?

You can read that on the card? I could barely make it out. I dunno... your eyes must be better than mine. *smacks self on forehead* you did see the BIG photo, right?

Noticed something odd about my Zeta plus GFF in
CHAN replied to GobotFool's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
You should get them. They come with both cloth (actually feels more like paper) and plastic capes. Very Cool, especially when you get them after watching pirates of the carribean. I don't have a picture of them with cloth capes on but I do have a pic of them with the other GFFs in plastic cape. IMHO, I think the more complicated the GFFs are, the crappier the quality, It is the simpler ones that are better value for money. After going through all of them, my favorite is still the GP01. -

Here is mine, I did not put them in the wave rider mode. But in this mode whatever it is, it is very unstable, the mount on the back to the stands is very loose. IE, it can fall over very easily. Stupid Bandai QC. -
I do agree that Yamato's constant change of story in the availability of spare parts leaves little to be desired. However we shouldn't forget the fact that they do not manufacture the parts in their office. They have factories in China make the toys for them. They are basically the designers and marketers in the whole product life cycle. And maybe they never did factor in spare parts as part of customer service. Think about it, how much would they need to order from the factories in order to satisfy our needs for one or two parts? They would need to stock up enough parts to make at least a hundred valks just to cater to the demands that trickle in. We also need to remeber that Yamato is not BANDAI and that they may not be able to afford this kind of service. Having said that, I do agree that they should have been up front about not supporting spare parts and not list all the parts by number in their transformation manual. This I believe gave alot of us the false hope. And that sucks.

I am interested to see your collection

You the man Kurt. In order to take care of it even better, I actually bought a football helmet case to put it in. It is now in one of the only two dust free environment in my house

I just finished my Enterprise E. I suck at making models and have absolutely no skills at painting them, but the two Enterprises from Bandai sure as heck makes it easy for me. I think the Enterprise E is much easier to make because most of the wiring is already done, unlike the NCC1701. It is also a great piece to show off to my friends as something I made as long as they don't ask questions about painting. I also suck at taking photos so here is my are amature Enterprises.

Was it made for the asian market?? Not that I know of

Not sure, but I did hear about an X-wing coming out. All diecast as well. Problem is, it is about as big as the falcon and therefore not the same scale as it.
-
PC ENGINE!! It was small and compact and there is and was nothing else like it that I know of.
-
No, justpoorly dispersed... I think it definitely looks better up close. But then again, I am a sucker for diecast, so it is a very biased view.
-
I think it cost $300 and it was too heavy to take it for a spin, nearly threw my back out when I first picked up the box. The whole friggin thing is diecast.
