  1. *cough*
  2. I'd say they've encountered aliens before. What they were saying at the board meeting was that they had never encountered an organism similar to the one Ripley had before.
  3. Did anyone you know play Line of Contact, the online version? That game fixed a lot of issues I had with the original game. Sadly, due to a few nasty bugs and no support from Capcom, not a lot of people play it anymore.
  4. Maybe "lefty-friendly" is a better term.
  5. The FN F2000 is supposed to be ambidextrous. It ejects its casings forward.
  6. Found out it's called kawarimi, a body-switching technique.
  7. We can only dream...
  8. Long, long ago I saw one of the SD Gundam shows that took place in medieval Japan. Every time the ninja gundam would vanish, a little log would be left behind with some sort of note in kanji attached to it. What's the deal behind that? I'm assuming he left it behind as a distraction, but where did that idea come from?
  9. Also, make sure the legs at the hip joint are shifted all the way down and forward... I've found that not doing this really adds to the sagging/chest dragging problem. That, and the fact that the chest intakes can't be fully rotated into a horizontal position because of the two flaps on the nose.
  10. Actually, that's apparently just a wall jump. This is taken from the GameFaqs board: So, it basically sounds like Screw Attack makes you fly straight ahead in third-person. As long as I can smash through baddies with it I'll be happy. Edit: This looks to be a screenshot of Screw Attack in action.
  11. Well, you can see footage of screw attack in action here. It's about 2/3 of the way in, right after Samus goes up the elevator. I'm not sure how much control you'll have over it, though. In that particular bit it looks like she's just jumping up a tunnel with it.
  12. Heh... what I first saw that box I thought it said "Generic GGG" and I thought, "what, is it a cheap knock-off or something?"
  13. Well, you're not just limited to control pads anymore...
  14. In an episode of the original Macross you see one take a step after it powers up in the hangar. Granted, it doesn't go very far.
  15. This thread makes me think of this comic.
  16. I think they were trying to tie it closer to the original RPG source material.
  17. I don't have the game, but a friend of mine bought it and he finished the single player campaign in one day. He says he loved it, though.
  18. I know Madeline Kahn died, but what happened to Gene Wilder? IMDB still lists him as alive.
  19. Tachikomas are definitely nifty, but I have a soft spot for the old Fuchikoma design.
  20. Let's try this again. Do a Google search for "Space Runaway Ideon," it turns up lots of stuff.
  21. Same here.
  22. Edit: Nevermind, the site no longer has the info.
  23. This can only end in tears.
