I still haven’t received my 31C from NY. Dispatched from Japan on 09/12 and no tracking updates since. Was the same with the last vf I purchased from them. The hmr’s arrive in a couple weeks but the larger packages take 5-6 weeks SMH

I wouldn’t trust ninnin; they canceled a preorder on me due to “high demand” and then offered me a store credit. Had to go through PayPal to get a refund.

I don’t know. I’m participating in the sdf rewatch and the gnerl fighter pod are prominently featured in early episodes. They look about the same size as the regults but I’m just guessing.

Yeah the BIJ price isn’t far off from what another proxy would charge. I really like From Japan so I’ll consider pulling the trigger. I imagine these will be all over JYA with a similar markup so I think waiting is okay too. Not a huge fan of the “tramp stamp” valks so I won’t be too sad if I don’t get one.

I got a couple 31-As from NY registered SAL for 227 a piece. Would have been about 235 via EMS from “From Japan” and I would have been able to pay later for shipping. *shrugs*

1) The “Kai” is the event exclusive, and subsequent, lottery valk. 2) The info I posted was quoted from their response. I don’t have anything else. 3) Yes but it will be close to just ordering from NY. The 31-A should be list price plus plan fee plus 540 domestic shipping plus actual international shipping. If you’re going to ship via EMS and/or buy multiples, then I believe “From Japan” may be slightly cheaper than Nippon Yasan.

Got a response from “From Japan” regarding VF-31J Kai: Basic fee: 5000 yen Hourly fee: 2000 yen Transportation fee Entrance fee (if applicable) Item costs Plan fees (300 yen or 700 yen) So the 50% markup by BIJ wasn’t too bad lol Is there an “entrance fee” to the event where they are selling the Kai?

It’s a bit cheaper to let your credit card do the conversion. PayPal charges something like 3% for currency conversion; someone correct me if that’s not right. It may make sense to open a credit card that does not have a foreign exchange fee as well. Some cc companies charges upwards of 3%.

Given the direction of exchange rates lately, waiting a week or so may save you a few bucks Since the 31C was released it’s gone from 107 to 113 JY to 1 USD.

Does anyone know if Bandai charge domestic shipping (in Japan) if you order directly from the Bandai site? I know Arcadia offers free shipping sometimes but I can’t tell if Bandai does.
