I like it! I have 2 dozen chain bases that I’m happy with but these look great as well. If you can’t track down the koto chain bases the gundam machine nests are a nice substitute, they come with more accessories, and they are dirt cheap: http://www.gundammodelcenter.com/cg-machine-nest-action-base-gundam -

Sorry if this has been discussed already (I searched but didn’t see anything): are there any specs on the sword used by the sv-262? Just wondering if it’s a simple edge weapon. Is it made of some modern material and/or used in conjunction with the pin point barrier system etc? -

Looks good, definitely want one since I missed out on the GBP. A little spendy but not as bad as aftermarket GBP

@auberondreaming I enjoyed your post. It’s always nice to hear a different point of view. I think most folks here are on the other side of the spectrum. I found delta disappointing but the valk designs are excellent and the DX figures are one of the best VF toys to date. I am actually looking forward to a break in toy releases; between Arcadia, DX, and HMR I am tapped out and I haven’t even picked up everything that’s being released! There are definitely things that I want that are just too much money or too difficult to acquire and it’s not fun passing on those. The hobby is definitely getting more expensive which is discouraging at times.

$160 oh me oh my lol Welp maybe the timing of this release will coincide with a lull in others and allow me to buy one. I go back and forth on the valks in his line, though I am a big fan of the destroids!

Also, it’s not as cheap to manufacture things in China as it used to be. This is a considerable contributing factor and it will only get worse.

I go back and forth. Ultimately it’s not a great value for me but I think it’s great that these ar available. These figures keep getting more and more expensive. Manufacturing in China is just not as cheap as it used to be. I wonder if there will be a dip in prices when production ostensibly moves to someplace like Africa.

Ah the 1/48 VF-1A CF is one of my favorite birds. Would def pickup a few VF-31A CF if funds allowed.

The destroids are my favorite units of the HMR line. Wish I had the space to get a second monster and glaug.

I also want a third; but there is more stuff coming out this year and a new series. Have to pace myself for the marathon that is Macross toy collecting haha

Should be relatively easy to pick one up at release at list price or at a slight markup. The longer you wait the higher the price will go. Unless it’s as unpopular as the 31C which was widely available for weeks at a discount. I don’t think that will be the case though.
