    There is no guarantee; even if you preordered 8 months ago from a relatively reputable seller (cough frakk you NY). We know that a couple Chinese buyers/sellers were posting stacks of VF-31A in shipper boxes a couple weeks ago. It seems like these stacks may be making their way to the secondary market. eBay, of all places, has sold two pieces for under $400 in the last couple days. Someone recently bought a used copy on yahoo auctions for ~$350 plus shipping. So it seems like there is maybe, sort of, kind of, a sliver of hope to secure one at a reasonable price in the near future. I should have just waited to purchase my second copy. I ended up purchasing more at inflated prices and I regret it. They’re just sitting in a closet lol; this whole experience has me questioning my sanity

    That’s a shame, I’ve never had an issue with missing/damaged pieces from mandarake. Though I’m not sure that I’ve bought anything that was opened. I try to stick to the “not opened, package damaged” items. Unfortunately they’re items are sold “as is”. You may want to contact them anyway. Maybe they will make an accommodation.

    Saw this over the weekend. It reminded me of Wonder Woman (of all things lol); because by all accounts it was the second coming of jeebus but in the end it was totally underwhelming. It started out relatively well but ultimately descended into standard super hero fair that culminates in a fist fight to save the world. I appreciate Dr. Strange more with each marvel film release because it didn’t end with folks simply kicking the crap out each other (with oh so many flips and flip-kicks).

    I received a date change email regarding the 31C super parts from NY last night. I really hope there isn’t an issue with these preorders. The price for the 31C super parts is already increasing despite the late uptake on the valk itself.

    The prices seem to be all over the place: 58000 (plus 5%) sealed at jungle 49980 used at ami ami 48000-50000 sealed, damaged package at mandarake 55000 in brown shipper at yahoo auctions 46000 new from SE Asian reseller(s) Resellers definitely put upward pressure on the price but there are some options now. Unless the market gets absolutely flooded, I’m guessing the aftermarket price of 31A will be around 37500-40000+ for a while. Just my guess at the moment; I’m wrong all the time
