  2. Haven’t seen one in a minute but have not been looking. I want to say the last time I saw one on yahoo auctions it went for 400-500 so the one on eBay for 275 is a good deal.
  3. I caved and ordered one. The pics look nice and, after some initial buyer’s remorse, I’m excited to see it in person
  4. I had one that looked like that. I believe it’s caused by the box flexing back and forth; I don’t believe it’s anything dodgy like being resealed etc. It’s just been “around the block” once or twice haha

  6. Welp, they sure as hell are not going by order number or date. Pretty sure there are a bunch of folks that ordered before 10/11 that haven’t heard a peep (myself included). I’ve already submitted two tickets so that didn’t help in my case.

  10. TWE are made to order so there’s no PO madness. Just have to get your order in by the retailers deadline. You can also use a proxy to order directly from Bandai.

  14. I had an exchange via chat and ticket last night. NY reassured me that they had my money (received payment), and that Registered SAL can take a long time...what? After they finally grasped that my order hadn’t actually shipped, I got this lovely message: “Hello, We do not have an expected timeline for the delivery of this item yet. You have the possibility to cancel this order, it will be refund as a voucher, your payment on paypal has been done too long ago. We will not be able to refund on paypal. Kind regards, Nippon-yasan.com” ...outstanding.
  15. I think that’s technically correct but quite charitable to NY. Anyway you slice it the way they handled the 31A release was terrible.
  16. I think that’s the issue though. We don’t know because they haven’t said anything except: we didn’t receive our stock, too late for a refund, but you may have a store credit that can ONLY be used all at once on a new order...orrr keep waiting? Maybe we’ll send the items you paid for (8 months ago) someday...maybe...who knows, I just work here. That’s really bad service any way you cut it; really really really bad. I’ll still use them when I can because they’re cheap but you get what you pay for (well not always...not right away...maybe 8, 9, 10 months later....eventually???)
  17. I still like NY for most releases. I will not rely on them as a sole source for web exclusives though; will prob use a proxy in addition to, or instead of a retailer, for TWE.
