Ah the low viz! I got a couple of those in the last year too. I want to say that they were closer to 20000 JY but they were new (unopened) so I think you got a decent deal. I think these may become cheaper once the 1/48 DX is released.

I got a new one with super/strike parts on YJA for 24000 JY. The shipping wasn’t too bad because I grouped it with a bunch of other stuff. It was maybe $250 shipped. I also bought a used one here on MWF last year for $230 shipped. I like having doubles Is this the one you won? https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/o252462609 Not a bad price depending on what they mean by “body is bruised”.

I like all the floppy gimmicks. I never had an issue with them on the Yamato 1/48s. I don’t handle my figures that much; but it never surprised me that if you pick it up and start shaking it around some of the bits and pieces may come off or the figure may lose its pose.

Interested in those launch arms, hope they work better than the Yamato versions. I was never keen on the SV-51 but it looks good.

I hope Bandai cranks out as many 1/48 variants as Yamato did. Would be excited for CF schemes like the low viz limited

I think it will definitely be a challenge to catch em and display em all at this scale; but this bad boy is so big and beautiful I don’t mind trying to figure something out. The DX doubles down on all of the things that made the Yamato 1/48’s a dream toy. It’s almost everything I hoped for in a transforming valk when I was a kid. I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

I imagine amazon will deliver an excellent shopping experience. They will likely become a good secondary source now that they ship toys internationally and with very reasonable shipping. I wonder if there’s any benefit to an amazon.jp prime membership for international customers? I guess we’ll find out for sure around Christmas weeeee

Very nice. I hope there is a better chance of 1/48 accessories since Bandai has released an updated valk. These would be absolute beast mode on a 1/48 DX.

NY sold out again. FYI nin nin charges are in euro so your total may end up a bit different than their site says. Also they are shady AF.
