I don’t think that valk is for me lol I can track down a 1/60 CF on yahoo auctions once the dust from recent releases settles and my wallet has a chance to recover. I really hope they entertain the idea of making these accessories for the 1/48 DX. Would def buy some.

Yeah I have a bunch of coupons too. I wonder if they can be used when paying the balance? Sounds like they have decent customer service; I wonder if an email would sort it out.

I like being abIe to upvote/downvote posts lol I can’t recall the last time I downvoted something and typically would only do so when someone was acting like an ass, which isn’t very often. It’s a nice way to interact with folks when you don’t have anything to contribute other than “I like that”

nin-nin is shady af. I will never order from them again. More than one mwf member has had a preorder cancelled by NN; only to see the same item listed at a crazy markup shortly thereafter. I had to file a PayPal dispute to get my money back from them.

If they’re getting it at a 15-20% markup, plus EMS shipping, plus 15% eBay/PayPal fees; that’s around $350. So they are makIng $60-$70.

I think the recourse is basically the same. You can always file a PayPal dispute. 99.9% you will get a full refund but you probably won’t be able to order from them again. You can do the same via your Credit Card but again your AmiAmi account will probably be closed. Buying products from halfway around the world, that are not licensed for sale in your country, is definitely a buyer beware situation. Not looking forward to my first “lost in transit” order but chances are it will happen sooner or later.

It may be cheaper to just by the 1/48 on release day than to buy an aftermarket HMR 1J with Armor lol HMR are fun little figs but the 1/48 is going to be a beast. Definitely go for the HMR mechs though; they’re great.
