Just saw this in the theater and it was excellent. Many nods to fans of the cartoon and the film captured the spirit of the characters well. Highly recommended! -

Looks like the Yamato pilot is significantly larger than the DX. Everyone knows you need 8 copies: 1 for each mode, 1 for each mode with super/strike parts, 1 for armor, and 1 to keep MISB if only I had the room.

I don’t think I’ll try any treatments. Weathering sounds like a fine idea. I have mine in armor already and the discoloration is only noticeable if you look for it. Maybe I’ll put it next to a yf-19 so it looks whiter haha -

I think the difference is that NY has poor communication. They just invoiced me an extra $20 with no info. CDJ explained the issue clearly. I’m mostly chuffed with amazon; great value

Oh ho! A wild neck appears I’ll reserve final judgement until I can handle these along with an Arcadia and 1/48 Yammy but the pics look great! Looks more and more like the toy I imagined playing with when I used to watch Robotech (frakk harmony gold) while waiting for the school bus weekday mornings. Excited to get my hands on one.

Yep. $20 intertron dollars says I’ll get my hands on a KO 31A before NY ships the two I paid for 14 months ago.

I don’t know how excited I would be to get one of the 31 KO given the differences in the PF VF-1. I would be a little miffed that the quality and/or sculpt was different. The accessories are a no-brainer unless the quality is absolutely terrible. Would definitely stock up on some missiles.

I think the lack of neck is due to the angle of the figure/camera. Hands do look a little small tho Overall I think the proportions on the DX look much better than the Yamato. Can always swap out the hands when they release T.V. accessories. Or maybe someone will make something larger available on shapeways. I LIKE IT!!!

Wow, DX battroid looks beast mode compared to those other figs. Anyone know specifically what the other two valks are (Arcadia/Yamato)?
