I wonder whatever happened to that guy who posted here that he had 20-30k in CC debt, needed a new truck for work among other things; and wanted to know if he should cancel his preorders for upcoming valks. I hope he got his finances in order.

Nice! I used to go to Twilo every month to see Sasha and Digweed. Heard some absolutely epic marathon sessions there. I remember the Easter party with Digweed and Tenaglia. DT wore us out! He was still playing and throwing candy from the DJ booth when I dragged myself off the floor at like 11:30am hahaha I experienced so many epic nights there and heard so much amazing music. My friends and I were crestfallen when the city shut them down

Thank you. Can you imagine placing an order at any other retailer and not receiving your order for months (or a year) later with NO communication? And then folks telling you you should be thankful for the experience? Miss me with that mess.

I don’t understand why some folks keep apologizing for NY. It’s not okay to take someone’s money for a product and then deliver it over a year later with ZERO communication. They did not say a word to anyone until after customers reached out to them first. Moreover I don’t see why anyone would sell their PO at NY for $300 when the 31A was already selling for $400-$500 at that point; and there were MWF members flipping their extras for between $500-$600 on eBay. Best to wait on the off chance you would actually get your order or bite the bullet and take the store credit. I still place orders at NY but I will never rely on them as the sole source for something I have to have.

I’ll order one from them as well but definitely securing an extra copy somewhere else. I don’t want to end up waiting a year for my armor parts.

That’s not bad. NY charged me around 5000 yen for SAL and it took about 6 weeks to arrive, pfffft Just checked it was 2740 at PO then an additional 2260 at release (5000). And it still shipped SAL lol

I don’t have time to fiddle with my valks so I typically display them in fighter mode. Most of the time that’s my favorite mode anyway I have probably transformed 2 or 3 of my valks over the last 10 years haha

Probably not. Myself and a few others have placed orders with them in the past with no issues.

Ah man, I end up ordering 4-6 copies from 2-3 stores/services because of the 31A mess. I won’t put all my eggs in one basket again!

I believe Anime Export, Bandaionline, CDJ, and Nippon Yasan offer TWE items. There are a few others that I can’t recall. Otherwise you can use a proxy service like Buyee, FromJapan, or ZenMarket.
