    Yeah I got one to make up for the one hlj cancelled on me. Unfortunately paying more but not stupid Nippon yasen more.

    HLJ cancelled my second yf-19 but didnt suspend my account. Thing is i think i screwed myself. I didnt know about the limit (why does the website allow you to order more than the limit?). They sent me the invoice for two, should've paid it then. Unfortunately lost my visa card and am waiting for a replacement so i asked for an extension to to pay to when my new card shows up. Then i get a payment request minus one yf-19. Should've stayed under the radar and not have give them a reason to look at my order. Though its kinda of a severe responds to suspend account for anorder liit that they're system should prevent you from doing.

    So what the deal with combinder wars? Everyone is a combinder now? Is there a story behind this toyline?

    Their reputation is catching up with them even with the casual fan. Though to be fair I don't think they promoted this rerelease enough. I barely heard about it and promptly forgot about it till today. At least this saves them from making the shipping container on a boat in HK excuse.

    Yeah the PS3 is still the king of the media player for me too dispite not being able to play mkvs. Frustrating that the new consoles took a step backwards in the media player functions.

    Finally! But I'd wish they would allow copying files to the hdd like the ps3. Helps when videos are laggy over the network.

    Finally got a chance to open mine. Haven't transformed it yet but i figured i'd compare it with my yamato vf-1j. Put them side by side and the pink tint people were talking about was really noticeable under soft lighting. It didn't show up in my pics though. Unfortunately it was hard to compare because my yammy seems to be not as bright white as i though it was. It looks like the white has gradually faded over the two years i had it. It haven't yellowed but it's not as bright white as when i first got it. Same thing happened to my 1/48 1J. Vf-1j Hikaru is my favorite valk tied neck and neck with the vf-1s roy. It's too bad it seems like it's impossible to keep it pristine white.

    I had a hole punched right through the box on my vf-25g. Valk was ok. Still i explained to n-y that part of the reason i buy these because they usually hold their value if not go up. Having a hole in the box reduces the value even though the valk inside is ok. Their awesome customer service response was to simply ignore my claims. I emailed them like 3 times before i gave up. This is why i don't care if i preorder and then don't pay.

    The 29 has actually really grown on me. Didn't like the design that much at first. Slowly got used it to it. It's one of the few valks that has it super parts color matched to the valk.

    A member gave me their n-y preorder but i think i'll pass that on to someone else now since i got a HLJ preorder.

    Thanks for the info. I also love reading about what goes into the production and history of a show i'm interested in. Unfortunately macross info in this regard is quite scarce. Im interested in the disscussion regarding your friends article. I dont recall seeing it back then.

    Clash had a lot of the final battle cut out among the other scenes mentioned above. I also assumed Hikaru died at the end which confused the heck out of me when i watched flashback 2012 and saw him in the new post dyrl footage. Personally i thought it was weird they cut so much of the final battle and not trim out some of the slower paced stuff in the middle. It's almost like the editor took only one pass at it. As he was getting closer to the end he realized he still had 20 minutes to cut so the cuts got more frequent and drastic.

    I'm wondering if the arcadia vf-1j white will look different than the yamato version. Not that it matters that much to me.

    Is the VF-1J white the same white as the previous Arcadia releases of the roy and hikaru DYRL VF-1S?

    I would've been okay if arcadia managed to tampo the intake markings. But neglecting them is a huge fail. Pics are looking awesome. Poor Isamu though. All these years and he's still hasn't been promoted to a 2(3) and 4(5) head laser unit.

    I wonder why N-Y has not been putting other batches of preorders. Since the vf-19advance they seemed to have stop sourcing out extra copies.
