    Where was this mentioned? I didn't hear that Freyja ia a pilot. I assumed the blue one was the guy with blue hair's valk.

    Me too as i never bought the yamato one. I remember balking at price at the time. Looking back that was a bad move since that price is equal to current arcadia valk prices.

    The interesting part of the article is when it states "VF-2SS Valkyrie II (Nexx and Silvie with SAP) ". As far as i know ET has not announced a Nexx or SAP release. That article blew my mind until i looked at it more closely.

    Delta is not being released in Dec. the special is going to show a rough cut of episode 1. I'm betting we don't see the series officially start until around April. Also It's a bit late to announce reissues for release before dec.

    I dunno I think the gold is a bit much. It takes it into the fantasy realm for me. Mine you it probably works for the fantasy setting they got going. I just not seeing that as Macross. The covered cockpits will take some getting used to as well. It worked for the vf-27 though. Yeah I agree. No gun pod is going To take some getting used to. Not having one to pose with the Dx is going to be weird.

    The red one also has some kind of symbol that I can't make out on it's backplate. Looking at my yf-30 Dx I kinda wish they went with it instead of the vf-31. It's a shame we won't get to see one in the show. BTW what does FSW stand for? I also notice there is no nuns or sms markings on the valks shown. They must belong to different forces.

    One thing I always wanted Macross to do was to have multiple squads. So we could have valks with different squad markings instead of just skull squadron.

    Yeah. You can tell the sponsors have had input into the show so they are going to go with the current trends.

    I'll watch the raw right away and then the fansub whenever that shows up. If we get good valk fights against awesome music, i'll be somewhat satisfied.

    No the CGI models for the Regault and Glaug don't look as good as the new valks IMO.

    Yeah but the CGI still looks bad in those two shots.

    +1 to that. The valks look like they are designed for mold milking and not in the good way. The Vf-311s look like they only have one stripe of color differentiating themselves from each other. Maybe they'll have awesome heads that make up for it.

    Seems unlikely unless they reissue. Personally i think they're done with the frontier valks for awhile. They haven't released a dx frontier since Aug with none announced in the near future. I think the next dx release will be the vf-31 probably early next year.

    To anyone who watched the stream and understands Japanese: did they explain the story premise of Delta?

    Didn't get to see the trailer but at first impression i'm not liking the direction this is going. Delta looks like it's going farther in the otaku-moe direction than Frontier did and looks to be losing most of the aspects of Macross that drew me to the series. Hopefully the story blows me away but i'm officially worried now. Edit: Just saw the trailer. It's alleviated my fears a bit but i'm still worried.

    They're already announcing a new tv series when Iron Blooded Orphens just started? It's cool to have a new UC tv series. Hopefully it doesn't suck.

    Wow i remember watching this as a kid. It's funny how much i actually remembered from it considering it was only on for 11 episodes.

    I didn't even know what ships you were talking about. I had to google them. The delta-7 is one prequel ship that i can see being older than the rebel ships sue to the hyperspace drive not being integrated like they are on the x-wing. I didn't know the astromech droid was integrated with the ship...that kind of sucks for the droid. The thing is the prequel ships are not memorable to me at all. The original trilogy had suck great designs that were iconic and very memorable. Not so with the prequel trilogy. I think only the Naboo Starfighter kinda stands out even with it's mediocre design. The idea of companies like incom supplying the rebels with new designs seems strange to me. Wouldn't the Empire shut them down or worse bobby trap the fighters as they were rolled out of the production line?

    So true. Never any bargains on there anymore. I use to pick up some good deals every now and then. Not anymore.
