I live in Canada. Between the our pathetically weak dollar and heavy customs/import fees, it's not worth ordering from the US anymore. This is pretty much why i haven't got a yeti stand even though i want them bad. Even with a stronger dollar the shipping is way too expensive. I've abandoned ebay shopping from the US completely as they've instituted a pay upfront for import charges. So on an auction you will see auction price, shipping charge and import charges which by the time adds up you are paying over half the price of the item in charges if you're lucky.

Since i was up i thought i'd get some tamashii stands. Hlj apparently imposes a 1 item limit on them. Seriously?

Wow that was tense. Had an order go in right at 12 for hlj and amiami. It loaded so slow that by the time checkout was complete it was 12:16.

Well n-y replied to me. They said they can not offer the replacement part. No explanation was given. Guess I'm screwed. I'm not sure why they can't get the replacement part from bandai.

I'm surprised your blu-ray player can play a mkv file. Most set top boxes or game systems never seem to play mkvs for me. I always look for mp4 versions. -
Personally glad the brownie is coming out rather than the max 1J since i already have the max from the prior release. Got my Roy today and it has the stand! Weird since they didn't ask for extra shipping for this one. They ask for 500 yen for the second one that just got shipped today. The funny thing is this all could've been avoided. There's enough space in the second tray with the super parts for the stand. Over 1/3rd of the tray is dead space.

Got an email from N-Y asking for an extra 5 dollars US to ship my second Roy. Which i guess means my first one was sent without the stand. I'll find out tomorrow when it's delivered. What a gong show. NY has always had bad customer service but this is really botched. I placed both my orders before within the time frame to get the stand but they obviously didn't do any adequate record keeping.

The designs are so beutiful. Anyone that says his designs are dated is an idiot. I wish we could see him do a macross series again
