Preordered but aren't they self sabotaging their Olson release which is a month earlier. A lot of people were ordering that one because they missed out on the orginal release. I know it did for me. I can't afford to get both and keep up with my macross releases.

Off topic but how are you hooking up that second monitor to your macbook? Are you using a dock?

I never cared about the replacement hard head lasers that bandai packages for a lot of their dx releases until i got this release. Every attempt to straighten those head laser has failed. They always revert back to the bending to the right position. Arrggghh.

Debating about cancelling my fairy preorder too. I preordered before i had the slyvie version which was so disappointing. The collector part of me wants to keep the preorder because i have a feeling it will be rare. It's going to be hard to pay that kinda money for the subpar quality of that release.

This is something i didn't notice myself but now seen will bug the crap out of me everytime i look at it. Sadly will not be able to be corrected unless bandai re-releases this bird.

Some of the paths the fleets took seem a little weird. Something about the way Frejya is animated throughout the series seems weird to me. I can't place my finger on what it is though. It's just her character and no one else. -

Yeah that would be a decent thing for them to do but they aren't really known for being decent.

With this thread active again i got excited at a vf-25G re-issue but alas... I hate the way bandai releases super and armor parts. If you don't get them when they are first released you basically can never get them unless you want to pay out of your ass. Bandai could make so much more money if they re-released the vf-25s armour packs.

Yeah even though I love the 1/48 the low hanging arms are a low (ha) point to the toy. That and the lack of key tampoes like the kite under the cockpit.

I live in Canada. Between the our pathetically weak dollar and heavy customs/import fees, it's not worth ordering from the US anymore. This is pretty much why i haven't got a yeti stand even though i want them bad. Even with a stronger dollar the shipping is way too expensive. I've abandoned ebay shopping from the US completely as they've instituted a pay upfront for import charges. So on an auction you will see auction price, shipping charge and import charges which by the time adds up you are paying over half the price of the item in charges if you're lucky.

Since i was up i thought i'd get some tamashii stands. Hlj apparently imposes a 1 item limit on them. Seriously?

Wow that was tense. Had an order go in right at 12 for hlj and amiami. It loaded so slow that by the time checkout was complete it was 12:16.
