Yeah same here. The only date on the email was 05/19/2016. Its funny the slyvie version was delayed too. I wonder if it will be a 2 month wait.

I'm not an expert on Macross dvd releases but if you are looking for Japanese audio and english subs stay away from anything with Robbotech on the title. Robotech is dub only with certain liberties taken with the story.

With all this talk of the zola patrol and the VF-5000, i was looking at pics of the vf-5000 and vf-19P. It looks like it has the NUNS logo on various spots. It doesn't look exactly the same as the nuns logo from frontier but it's pretty close. Would a local police force be using valks with a nuns logo? Was nuns even around back then? My memory of D7 is spotty but i know in the series they were still un spacy with the classic logo. -
Just saw the season finale On an other note I met Bret Dalton at a convention in my town this past weekend. He was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. No ego or elitist complex unlike another guest <cough>candicepatton<cough>. Never rushed me out of there and was extremely gracious. He mentioned to me he didn't even like Ward in the first season till the reveal. It's funny cuz I wasn't planning to go talk to him originally and he ended up being one of my favourite visits.

Yeah for close to $500 Canadian it's too risky for what may be a ET Vf-2ss situation. Unfortunately it's a pass for me as much as I wanted this. I'm going to be priced out of this hobby pretty quick if these prices keep going up. I remember the cms legions trend set's price being considered ridiculous at the time at $300 US.

Preordered but aren't they self sabotaging their Olson release which is a month earlier. A lot of people were ordering that one because they missed out on the orginal release. I know it did for me. I can't afford to get both and keep up with my macross releases.

Off topic but how are you hooking up that second monitor to your macbook? Are you using a dock?

I never cared about the replacement hard head lasers that bandai packages for a lot of their dx releases until i got this release. Every attempt to straighten those head laser has failed. They always revert back to the bending to the right position. Arrggghh.

Debating about cancelling my fairy preorder too. I preordered before i had the slyvie version which was so disappointing. The collector part of me wants to keep the preorder because i have a feeling it will be rare. It's going to be hard to pay that kinda money for the subpar quality of that release.

This is something i didn't notice myself but now seen will bug the crap out of me everytime i look at it. Sadly will not be able to be corrected unless bandai re-releases this bird.

Some of the paths the fleets took seem a little weird. Something about the way Frejya is animated throughout the series seems weird to me. I can't place my finger on what it is though. It's just her character and no one else. -

Yeah that would be a decent thing for them to do but they aren't really known for being decent.

With this thread active again i got excited at a vf-25G re-issue but alas... I hate the way bandai releases super and armor parts. If you don't get them when they are first released you basically can never get them unless you want to pay out of your ass. Bandai could make so much more money if they re-released the vf-25s armour packs.
