    I loved saber rider. The show commits all the localizing sins of making a dub for North American audiences and then some but somehow works as its own thing. The orginal series it based on, Bismark seems tame in comparison.

    Well what i was saying is Delta is proving to be more popular than they thought. Before they didn't think it was worth going the legal fees to go after that money. But there is going to be a point where this will be worth settling this in the courts.

    I used to be a fansubber back in its heyday in the early 2000s until i burned out in the mid 2000s.. It's an incredibly time consuming and stressful especially when people are rudely demanding you release an episode. For currently running series we'd try to have it out before the next episode aired. I'm amazed that we get Delta subs usually the same day as the raw comes out. But i can be patient if they are late. It's a lot of work for no pay and to give up your free time. Considering the current climate of fansubbing (virtually gone like Marzan said) we are lucky to be getting any subs. Back in the day there would be 3-5 groups doing a series like Delta. Now we basically have one (i believe deadfish just re-encodes gg's sub to mp4 instead of mkv).

    I'm actually hoping HG does try to stop it. Maybe it will force the Japanese to defend their stake and finally kill this HG bs. Now that they see there is money to be had with Macross perhaps they will be willing to fight for it.

    I always think the of the tv-1a as Max's iconic valk. The blue 1j is not seen that much. Though the 1j is prettier than the his 1a.

    Having some cash flow issues so i had to drop one of my hlj preorders. With the Canada Post strike imminent i don't think any of my auctions will sell. If anyone still wants a monster keep a lookout for one opening up at HLJ..

    Wow that transformation is more interesting than i thought it would be. Liking how the pieces slide out unlock before bending as well. Looks like the arms and head are going to be easier to deal with than the 25. I never care for the way the arms twisted behind with the shoulder joints breaking up the top of the fighter modes's fuselage. Too many bits to smooth out that part. Any misalignment and the seam lines get too noticeable. Hoping most of this makes it to the dx except for the parts swapping.

    Yeah really sucks to get new zero releases and have new issues. It's whole reason I stayed away from the orginal Yamato releases.

    They were really slow on capatilizing on AoT's success. I can't believe it's taken this long for the second season to come out.

    Well the dx 31J is out december so hopefully they won't release a hi-metal that month. I'm guessing they will probably alternate between dx and hi metal releases.

    Ugh somehow forgot about this even though I made myself a mental note not to forget this morning. How was this preorder? It looks like it wasn't as easy as the other hi metal preorders.

    I totally forgot about that combiner wars series. I don't think they planned this too well. Shouldn't have this come out last year. We're into titan masters now.

    I'm blanking on what "LSH" is. Heh. Lyanna Mormont is awesome. I love every scene she is in.

    I'm not too sure about that. My last few HLJ orders have been hit with high custom fees. It's basically cancelling out any savings from using the private warehouse. If this keeps up i'll be forced to order from N-Y (Gasp). At least they mark my packages as gifts.

    I don't know. I don't think this episode hit the emotional marks it was trying to. Also the character animation seemed to be really crappy and i don't usually notice things like that. So far Delta has been a just ok series to me. There hasn't been an episode that made me go wow like frontier did with ep7. I usually will rewatch mecha scenes a few times after the initial viewing. I haven't really done that with Delta. I dunno maybe it's the music selection. The song used in the main sequence was a bad choice IMO. Other spoiler things

    I wonder if they held out on mirage and messers valks because of changes coming in the show. Maybe mirage's valk gets the 02 markings on her valk and a new pilot becomes 04 with messers old valk. I find it odd that chuck is released before mirage who is a main character of the show. She should've been released before Arad too. Arad valk really hasn't been shown that much either so far.

    Karl Urban get's screwed again. First he's ousted out of his top 3 spot by Uhura and now by the guest star of the week.

    Well this is bad news for Star Trek continues and phase 2 which I've surprisingly come to enjoy these last few months. I'm not usually a fan of these projects but those have been good. Also been meaning to check out that horizon film.
