    i was excited about this till they announced the price. Way to expensive for effect parts imo. The price is almost as much as vf-1 hi-metal.

    Some interesting ideas but still a wait and see. Been burned buying nintendo at launch too many times especially with the wii u. I can't stand those commercial/ads mainly due to how the actors try to look natural while playing the system which looks ridiculous. The girl with the apartment with the bob hair is especially bad.

    What does Arcadia have plans to release other than the reactive armour? Any reissues? Yeah other day I saw a Facebook ad for HLJ stating there was going to be a Yf-19 restock in April for 28000 yen. Didn't think much of it until later. I tried to find the ad again but couldn't. I checked HLJ and they still have 19 in stock for 29500 yen. I'm guessing that was an old ad still in circulation from the restock earlier this year.

    Sucks these restocked happen in the middle of the night when I'm asleep. This is a the first preorder I haven't had a valk secured.

    Does HLJ have a preorder limit of the 1J? I already have one for preorder i believe. Nevermind it looks like it's a limit of one. Was hoping to get another but not a big deal.

    Yeah i agree. That was so awesome. It almost makes up for the boring season.

    It's good that they fixed the nacelle problem of being too close together and brought back the v shape pylons but it's still an eyesore IMO. The neck is still to far back and even though the pylons are v shaped, they still seem odd being so thick at the base and attack so far at the front of the nacelle. Not a fan of the tapering nacelle either. If you look at the design full on side view you start the see how awkward the design is. The original refit/A design looked amazing from any angle you looked at it. This one not so much.

    If there was 5 toy/model sponsors, you think there would be better mecha scenes and better capitalization of add on parts for the valks. If those sponsors are going to chime in with demands I imagine they'd offer suggestions that would help sell their products. I didn't really see that other than the needless 31J repaint for the last episode.

    I totally spaced on that Heinz getting poisoned plot, what ever became of that plotline. I've totally forgotten.

    Every new terminator film released after T3 makes T3 seem so much better. After Genisys, T3 is practically a work of art in comparison. It's too bad because Genisys had a decent idea implemented badly. Except that John Conner twist which was stupid beyond belief.

    I picked up blaster the other day for $40. Not because I was planning to but because it's unusual to get a leader class in town. It's always just deluxes and the really small ones. There was only one left and I figured I should buy it since I won't probably ever see it again or power master prime. The one I really want but I'll probably never see in a store here.

    Yeah that was one i was thinking. I may check it out (i'm a dad too). Thinking of checking that Pollyanna one Renato was talking about as well. Is it the 80s series or is it a newer remake?

    What was the name of the anime Craig said to check out? I couldn't make it out.

    Well yeah of course it is. But will it be wrapped up satisfyingly? My guess is no. It'll either be continued in something else like a movie or they just wrap up poorly leaving many plot points unanswered, ignored or extremely rushed. Hey if they can pull off a good wrap i'll be the first to be happy about it. But even if it's amazingly awesome it still won't make the whole series good. That ship has already sailed. I can't think of any anime that has blown it as bad as delta with it's second cour. I wholeheartedly agree with Graham's previous post, being a lifelong macross fan i've never have lost interest with a macross series till now.

    Wow. Same here. Those were some of my first exposures to anime. I'm from western canada and didn't speak french at all. I remember catching both while flipping channels and got caught up in them. Even though i couldn't understand the language something caught my eye about these shows and could tell they were something beyond the average cartoon.
